FireGamers announce second team

FireGamers have announced the creation of a secondary team by picking up the suicideRushers squad.

suicideRushers were one of the sides on show at ESWC Brazil two weeks ago, and though they placed outside the top 6, they raised eyebrows when they forced Made in Brazil to an overtime 19-16 win.

They have now joined the ranks of FireGamers as their secondary team, called Bullguard.FG, and will "costantly pratice on LAN and online" with the main team, according to the organisation.

The move is not strange in Brazil, as GameCrashers and Made in Brazil have had two teams on their payroll in the past.

Meanwhile, FireGamers have announced that Rafael "castigo" Marques will make way for Tiago "tgo" Moraes in their new team.

Bullguard.FG have the following line-up:

Brazil Marcos "machine" Antonio
Brazil Luigi "dukka1" Ciccone
Brazil Pedro "pEdRo" Garofalo
Brazil Eduardo "shemp" Ferreira
Brazil Tiago "tgo" Moraes

I'm pretty sure they can do that nowadays... probably not as much as MiBR in the past, but they have been getting tons of new sponsors recently. And not lame sponsors at that. A few big names such as Kingston and Steelseries should be bringing a lot of moneyz to them. They're even sending their female Counter-Strike team to ESWC by themselves, paying for the trip, the accommodations and the whole deal.

Haha don't get your hopes too up though :P. These things tend to change pretty fast around here sadly. I'm pretty positive that we'll at least get to see them in Arbalet Dallas though. Not nearly as expensive as going to Europe, plus they pay out to the 16th so that should be another motivation for them to go there.

its good for these guys, but it does mean that it is probably even less likely that we will see the mian FG squad at many events outside of South America. It seems as though FG just dont have the same financial support as many European squads, and thats sad because of their talent

Honestly... Firegamers could have chosen much better, but I guess if its to have an 'Academy' team youre supposed to have amateurs :P Anyways, good luck to sR, nice to see a mid-lower team having such a good opportunity to grow

I've never seen so much post from brazil before... nice merchandising drzx haha #20 fg will send all female team abroad (5 girls + 1 coach) paying all the bills... so I'm not sure about it, as mithbr said, they won't travel as mibr were a day but now they've got 3 good sponsors (steel series, bullguard and kingston)
