mTw win DreamHack Summer 2010

mTw have been crowned DreamHack Summer 2010 champions after defeating H2k Gaming on de_train and de_dust2. 

mTw and H2k Gaming were gathered in the DreamArena Extreme arena, infront of a massive audience, which is sure to have peaked 1,000 people, to play the Grand Final of the DreamHack Summer tournament.

The teams embarked on de_train, a map mTw had already proven their strength on against Fair Frag earlier in the playoff stage. The Danes in mTw engaged by securing the initial rounds, followed by a streak of additional rounds. Although mTw played the dominant role, H2k managed to seal 5 rounds to 10 as halftime kicked in.

Now playing Terrorist, mTw started out by securing a 5-1 lead, but the scoreline was turned to 6-5 in favor of H2k as the Swedes stepped up their game. This was however not enough, seeing mTw clinch in the last round and post a 16-11 victory.

On de_dust2, H2k Gaming started out by heading to the A bombsite, through catwalk, but was shortly after stopped by Danny "zonic" Sørensen who managed three straight kills with the USP. Danny Sørensen made the audience gasp even higher during round three, as he once again proved his pistol skills by taking out the entire H2k squad who were headed for the B bombsite. 

But H2k had no plans on throwing in the towel, and stated a 6-5 lead as the match was well underway. However, mTw were close on the Swedes' tail, but had to see a halftime defeat of 7-8 as Richard "Xizt" Landström beautifully concluded the set with a headshot on trace.

mTw continued their streak after swapping sides, now playing Terrorist, the crowd cheered for Danny "zonic" Sørensen who once again displayed impressive play, taking out four H2k members in the fourth round, setting the score to 4-0.

As the game moved on, both H2k and mTw secured four rounds each, the latter which set the game to match-point for the Danes. It all concluded as mTw sealed the last round, securing the DreamHack Summer 2010 victory.
