LEVEL UP shuts down
24-6-2010 15:21
The LEVEL UP management has announced the closing of the famous LAN center.
A message on LEVEL UP's website read: "This is all, friends, thanks to all those who trusted us all these years."
No official explanation for the decision has yet been provided, but HLTV.org has learned that financial problems and the poor relationship between the management are behind.
LEVEL UP, located in Zaragoza, became famous abroad when it started hosting national qualifiers for KODE5. In 2009, the Spanish stop attracted mTw, Crack Clan and DTS.chatrix to the tournament.
The Internet center, which also sponsored x6tence e-sports club, was expected to host a second qualifier for KODE5 in Spain this year, with the event is now in doubt.
