ESWC list gets complete

With the UK qualifier for the Electronic Sports World Cup now over, the participants' list for the showpiece event has become complete.

Dignitas have won the right to attend the ESWC world finals after coming out on top of the qualifier held in the United Kingdom, this way becoming the last team confirmed for the event.

The ESWC team list is now comprised of 26 teams following the removals of Algerian duo inteNsity and United[5], both of whom will not be present at the event for unknown reasons.

The Counter-Strike competition will kick off with two group stages, after which the surviving teams will move on to a single-elimination knock-out phase, played in best-of-three.

The following teams will be present at the ESWC world finals:

sad because once they were talented... but due to lack of exposure for the last three years they cannot be ranked as one of the top cs nations... their player base is haauugggeee(they stab cheaters in the head)... the country is huge so pings cannot be good to play outside their country... and due to funds they never attend many events... key to improvement is regularly attending big international tournaments... which they never do... atleast for the last three years...

looks like a really interesting event on beforehand. haven't seen an event where the absolute topteams face off against upcoming topteams since gamegune last year pretty much, so it will be interesting to see how they'll do and which team will surprise this time. :)

I don't wanna sound like a fanboy, but I know k1ck better than you do...Why the hell do you put k1ck in "Raking 4" when they got a great result (12-16 vs mibr @ group stage - dreamhack winter 2008) and they got 50 times better since then, and you put FG on "ranking 2" ? btw FX ranking 2 not 1..but I understand...you're only givin' ur opinion bla bla bla -.-

Bare in mind that this site does not only deal with the Dreamteam game, and that the site staff deserves some free time too to relax just like you or any other user. There is still plenty of time I presume, groups are not even drawn, to set everything up. As for not knowing about this, as said I actually stated that as far as I know there is going to be a DT for ESWC as Nomad already stated it in serveral threads where this very same question popped up. Hopefully things are clearer to you now.
