Alternate bring in KenaN

Team Alternate have announced the addition of Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel to their Counter-Strike department.

The EPS Rookie of the Season had been without a team since departing TBH.eSports earlier today after a fourth-place finish in the league.

His arrival at Alternate comes just days before the team's involvement in the ESWC finals, which will take place from July 1-4 in Paris.

The signing of Temmel leaves Alternate with a six-man roster, with the German giants having yet to confirm whether one of their players will sit the ESWC out, or they will take their whole team to Paris.

Alternate were last seen at the EPS Finals earlier this month, where a second-place finish after a 2-0 defeat to mousesports earned them €5,000.

The German side have been placed in the high-seed pool for the ESWC, and will learn their fate in France tomorrow, when the group draw takes place.

This move leaves Alternate with the following roster:

Manuel "approx" Zeitz
Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt
Bastian "b4d" Gaffron
Direnc "seraph" Öz
Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel

Roman R. was good this season but perhaps it's his time to step aside now? starting to get old and KenaN is in the long run a much better player. could be mooN as well i guess but i hope not :o

I feel that someone has to deffend b4d. He was from memory the best entryfrag player in the german eps season. He wins something like two thirds of his first frag duells which is realy important for teams who play on that level. Roman.R has player well but attax needs some new blood in their team when they constantly fall in the shadow of mousesports. I'm confident with the mastermind of moon that they can recreate themselves and do some real damage internationally :)

I think Roman R goes and mooN becomes their new caller. Or mooN goes and Roman R stays as caller. Don't think they'll replace b4d since he's their main sniper, and seraph has really impressed me, so I don't think it'll be him. Approx is their best player, both with awp and rifles and I really hope they don't replace him.

I wish alternate would bring back the constellation: moon as ingame-leader, chef-koch, kapio, silver and tixo. Moon is btw. one of the cleverest cs-players in the world. Without him alternate will not be the same. I hope Roman R. leaves as I never liked him.

Yeah, but the problem with german CS is that there are only about 8 really good players that should meet the needs of alternate's CS's level demands. 5 of them are playing for mousesports. The other ones are moon, chef-koch and maybe seraph. And a player that at least sometimes plays on a high level for that team is kind of refreshing. Gosh, I miss that old atn lineup moon, chef-koch, silver, kapio, tixo :-/. Fast pacing, nasty and unexpective. At that time german CS was watchable. Now it is really boring, only mousesports has its moments.

I, for myself, won't like to see moon disbanding as I really am a huge fan of him. In my opinion he still is one of the cleverest CS players in the world beside ave and msx.

Yeah, unfortunately Roman R. does :-(. It is only for melodramatical reasons that I would not like to see moon disbanding. I really hope that Roman R. would leave and that moon does take over the role of an ingame-leader for one or two more seasons. If there were any hungry players in Germany I would like to see them playing for moon and to see them evolving to become a world-class team again.

Actually, besides mtw international and hostile, attax has always been my favourite team. Everytime attax appeared on the international scene they kind of deranged it. But since Roman R. has taken over the leading role it is nothing but a 0815 team :-(
