GC Shanghai groups drawn

The groups for IEM5 Global Challenge Shanghai have been drawn, consisting of two groups of four teams.

Earlier this week six out of eight participants go revealed, missing two Chinese teams which will qualify to the event. The groups for the event were drawn out today, creating following groups:

Na´Vi	fnatic
SK Gaming	mousesports
WeMade FOX	Evil Geniuses
TBA	TBA

The ESWC 2010 finalists Natus Vincere and SK Gaming will once again lock horns, this time in the group stage. Group B, will feature a re-match between mousesports and Evil Geniuses, who played a 15-15 match in the second group stage at ESWC 2010.

Top two in each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be played best-of-three maps in a single elimination bracket. The Global Challenge in Shanghai will not only hand out a $14,000 cheque to the winning team, but also direct access to the IEM5 World Championship.
