GameGune 2010 is over, but the coverage here at HLTV.org is still going strong, after the final we sat down with cArn to get his words on the final, his thoughts about having Gux back, the future for fnatic and tournament structures.

The GameGune final got about as exciting as anyone could have hoped, with fnatic taking home the title from the lower bracket, so we sat down with cArn to get his thoughts about the first victory after the return of Gux.

I know, I just think it's a thing missing quite often around here. From all the progamers I've listen to, Carn seems to me the one who presents more "information" about the things he is asked to talk about. Something like that :D I think is missing to hltv something like gotfrag used to do, articles, maybe playbooks, like this one about element for example, www.gotfrag.com/cs/story/41042/?spage=3 HLTV it's fine, but I think it's lacking "something". You get my point :)

Content like that takes a long time to prepare, we got a very small crew and have to cover a ton of events.. Until we can sell more ads we cannot afford to hire anyone, so we'll have to do with what we have..

Uh, we do have a microphone, and an expensive one at that, I saw the entire interview and heard everything perfectly well, even on my crappy laptop speakers..

Quality of the video is just great. There is a lot of background noise but you can still perfectly hear interviewer's and Patrik's voice which actually means that mic is very good as well.

No dude, single elimination is bo3, it's called like that because you play against a team at play-offs and if you loose the bo3 you're out. Doble elimination you have to face two teams to be out, upper and lower.

You can also have bo1 single elimination (like the ESWC a couple of years ago) and bo3 double elimination (I don't think it's ever been done in big events since it would take too long). So what cArn meant was that with bo3 the best team will go through, and this is what he prefers, and since at big events you only find bo3 in single elimination that's what likes the most, even though it's possible that he would rather choose double elim over single elim.

Nope. BO3 and single elimination are two different things, even though they're frequently associated in tournaments. Read hltv.org/?pageid=18&threadid=49841#r9693..

I know what it is bro... I'm not going to explain by the long way to these guys, it's easy, in a tournament if you play bo3, it's single elimination (it could be long 1 or 2 days more if it's doble elimination with bo3) P.S: I think one arbalet cup was bo3 with doble elim. though, but it's strange.

There were huge generators outside. Either I could have done it inside, where there was massive noise from the LAN and totally dark, or outside in perfect lightning but with the annoying background noise.
