DSRack reverse coin toss decision

The tournament organizers of DSRack LAN #3 have announced that they have reversed the decision about deciding the match between RAGE and Playzone via a coin toss.

When announcing that games involving the Swedish team RAGE would be postponed, it was also announced that the matchup between RAGE and Playzone would be determined via a coin toss.

The decision has however now been reversed, meaning that the match between the two teams will be played after all, though only in a best-of-one map format. Should the match end at a 15-15 score line, then the match will go to overtime, in order to determine which of the two will claim first place in Group D.

The match would never be decided by a cointoss. The seeding might. There is a huge difference in the way it expose the quality of decisions.

I don't get it too. What is the difference ? Just in "how it is presented" ? Cause result is the same.

You obviously do not read other comments than mine - try it, it's quite clear how users on this site comprehend the message.

Since the match will (most likely) determine the seed, it is to me exactly the same, regardless of the expose of "quality decisions".

Except for the fact, that the match will be played if it affect who advance - so it will never ever be a default cointoss deciding the outcome of the match - as clearly stated in the news. But you obviously benefit more from exposing stupidity.

heard lots of shit about dsrack as of late, lets hope they will manage to run the event smoothly and thereby prove they aren't just another joke organisation and/or event organizer.
