€6,000 for DSRack LAN #3

The total prize purse for DSRack LAN #3, is as expected set at €6,000, with €4,000 going to the winning team.

Last week we brought the story that only 25 teams had registered for the none-BYOC tournament at DSRack LAN #3, which according to the DSRack website would secure a €7,000 prize purse.

The tournament kicked off today, with 16 teams attending. To attend the tournament, teams had to pay a fee of €400, which adds up to €6,400 in total. The organizers have now announced that the tournament will feature €6,000 in total, with the detailed breakdown as follows:

1. €4,000
2. €1,500
3. €500

Despite the tournament being on hold, due to reconfiguring the network, DSRack LAN #3 has now resumed and you will now be able to follow the final matches, which will determine which teams will advance to the playoffs.

Also note that the playoffs will take place Thursday, meaning that Wednesday will only feature the group stage. Make sure to stay locked to HLTV.org for coverage of DSRack LAN #3.

dsrak title means nothing( mb just warmap for WEM. and 4000 for organisations like mtw or fnatic is low too. Still nice to see top teams playing each other

By the end of the tournament the teams will find out that the prize distribution aren't prizes at all; but instead is how much each team owes DSRack for their placement in the finals. lol

If they have hosted such famous teams as the fnatic, Power Gaming, mTw, Lions, then I think they must make the appropriate prize.

Enough with the retarded comments. Prizes were lowered due to the lack of teams wanting to join and it got even lower because only 16 of the 25 teams that were supossed to attend actually showed up.

u think this is the case why teams coming to the tourney, especially pro teams? Sweden and Denmark is not far and the culture is pretty alike and i doubt parties differs a lot. If it would be somewhere in south america for instance it is more interesting for teams to get acquainted with culture, visit some sightseeing and so on.
