TyLoo win IEF 2010

TyLoo won the International E-sports/Entertainment Festival by defeating TyLoo.raw with a 2-0 manner in the Grand Final.

It all came down to a fight between the two TyLoo squads, when International E-sports/Entertainment Festival was settled Saturday in Wuhan, China. The two had face each other once already, with TyLoo.raw scoring a 16-10 win on de_inferno, when facing off in the group stage.

The first semi-final saw TyLoo.raw, without any trouble, ease past Infragzion from Hong Kong, winning 16-3 on de_inferno and 16-2 de_nuke to reach the Grand Final. TyLoo had to take on WeMade FOX in the other semi-final, a match that potentially could be one-to-watch.

WeMade FOX could however not cope with a better playing TyLoo team, who with scores 16-12 on de_dust2 and 16-4 de_inferno, went on to face TyLoo.raw in the Grand Final.

In the Grand Final TyLoo managed to beat the little brother TyLoo.raw in a 2-0 series (16-6 on de_dust2 and 16-7 on de_inferno) to win the International E-sports/Entertainment Festival and $14,000.

$7,000 will go to TyLoo.raw for their second place finish, while WeMade FOX will pocket $4,000 by claiming third place in front of Infragzion.

TyLoo and TyLoo.raw, as well as WeMade FOX, will be on display again next week, when attending the World e-Sports Masters tournament in Hangzhou, where HLTV.org will be on site to bring you things as they happen.

hahahhaha.. saw that !! u listen to this alexs interview !! alex : I know its disrespectful to use knife in the game of cs, but when i play against japan i try to knife them as much as i can. Its a matter of national integrity

hes not exactly retired, but kind of inactive. I believe he still plays CS at his hometown with friends. One rumor is that he requests too much about salary, so cant find an organization. lol rumor are just rumors. great awper anyway.

can't really appreciate this....I think Tyloo wouldn't have done this with any other team at an international tournament (even if they play a really low team) I believe just because it's happening in China and China and Japan have got some nice history between them, Tyloo felt obliged to satisfy their fans.... if it's not so, well I am wrong...

hitting a six is a positive achievement in cricket...is knifing an opponent in a cs competitive match considered the same? I don't think so.... You can see them going to knife even in situation where its 2v4/5 etc....winning the round is not a priority..knifing is, for them.

Why isn't positive....its always been like gesture of dominance....They just wanted to win in style :D and they did by showing there dominance. They had no pressure they knew very well they are gonna win without an effort so they decided to have fun and go on knife rampage :D

The knife is a legal weapon which is helpful in many situations. That being disrespectful is only your interpretation of things. They played - they won. The judging of skill is being done by fans. All TyLoo did was play their game. Deal with it.

Here its obviously right by rulebook but not in spirit...that is why people called WMF whiners when they played MYM...and when some ESL team raises a petty issue to have a match overturned... anyway lets end it here...

Just to add. Comparing a match which was played by the rulebook and a match which had protests in it is kinda funny. I'm not commenting on the WMF-MYM issue - I'm just stating that knifing is not against the rules. Since noone removed the knife from the game, saying stuff like "violation in spirit" (lol?) is ridiculous. :)

Its insane how important ari was to Wemade FOX. As soon as he joins they are a consistant top3 at every big event. As soon as ari leaves, Wemade FOX become an average pro team. Its sad really. They have so much skill, great tactics, so much exp, yet they can never get the job done.

Alex:I said you guys finally know how to play by yourselves.As everyone knows I used to tell them what to do in the game,but this victory comes from their communication and understanding of cs. alex: no doubt Savage is one of the most gifted cs player in China. He's got both BRAIN & AIMING.BUT it's a pity that he's too lack of communication between teammates during the game,and he's too quiet.It's still some space for him to GROW....
