Playzone close down CS team

Playzone have announced the decision to part company with their Swedish Counter-Strike division.

The decision comes just days after Playzone witness the departure of their Finnish squad due to lack of support provided by the organisation.

Playzone state that personal issues and a series of disappointing results have led to this decision.

The Swedish team have been tipped with roster changes after competing in the PlayDH Qualifier #2 with André "keiz" Carlsson and Hugo "huggan" Lopez as stand-ins.

Playzone noted that all players are free to join other projects and stressed they will not be investing in Counter-Strike any time soon, as they will spend their money in other games.

The future of the Swedish team is now unknown, but Andre "BARBARR" Möller has already made it clear he will hang up his mouse to focus on his education.

"I'm quitting playing and starting studying. I will miss gaming a lot, but everything has to end sometime. However, it's not over quite yet, because I am going to UK with the Danish mix puta this weekend to compete in the DreamHack qualifier over there. After that, I'll quit," he told Arcticnova.org.

Maybe ,maybe not! Ppl always talk about skill if,skill is good than they talking about tactics. And what a bout a teamwork ? good relashionship( i'm not sure if i spell right) ?

Tactics are tactics ,TM is TM . There is no TM if i have personal issues with you ,but tactics can't suffer from that if there is a serious IGL

what is salary of sk players?

I remember reading a swedish article about heaton earning 20000 SEK (2000-2100 EU) per month when he was gaming. Dont know how much of the price money they got tho

yes, he was in superb form in first half of this year. but, i have to say that "manne" is not in good form at the moment :( did you see him versus fnatic at their last event? he was too bad at aiming and other things. i hope him to get better and absolutely i wanna see him at SK or one of other Top Teams.

It was pretty clear that the team and the organization departed in separate ways when they didn't get the support that they wanted, and at the same time didn't gave us as an organization anything back. I think they were up to 12 different players in this year’s EPS and if we start counting since the ESWC we will probably come up with a bigger number. So it’s sad to read those things when you try to put us in a bad position. It was more or less a mutual decision. The saddest thing is that they now start to look like a team again :))

Thanks mate :) We will now put our focus on our two SC2 players FuRy and Sky(line) and of course our new COD4 team. Who knows, when our new website will be ready for release this December we might have some room for 1.6 again :)

Maybe it is true, but i ighly doubt it, they only have QPAD as sponsor, so i dont think they have 120,000 euros to spend each year in salarays, plus 80% of winnings, i also doubt this, then where is the profit for the orga, just the 20%, come on.
