Copenhagen Wolves have announced the acquisition of the No Problem! Counter-Strike team.

The move will come as a major boost to the team's goals for DreamHack Winter, for which they have been drawn in the same group as Lions and RAGE.

The Danish team, who have secured a place in the relegation stage of the IEM5 European Championship, were recently seen at KGC #2, where they crashed out in the semi finals of the Danish playoffs, and DSRack, where they failed to go beyond the group stage.

Copenhagen Wolves, a newly-built Danish organisation, are hoping that the arrival of NP! will help them establish themselves in the esports business.

"This is our first step towards building what we hope will become a new electronic sports powerhouse and we are extremely excited that this team shares our vision and wish to be a part of this journey," a Wolves statement read.

"They fit perfectly into our plans of creating a more mainstream and club-like spirit since they all live in Copenhagen. This will also give them a unique opportunity to perfect their craft in our headquarters at the DSRack eSport Café on Frederiksberg."

rofl I'm pretty sure there's sth you didn't understand mate Basically what I said was that "Copenhagen Wolves" sounds a lot like "Oslo Lions" cause for both of them it's the capital city of a country + a predatory animal, so it seemed a funny name to me cuz the reference to OL was obvious. Nothing to do with AA and co...

i like the way esports is following more standardized naming approach with an area followed by an animal or noun. its a good step, hope the team does well.

If they add a female squad they should use Sirens though ;)

Worth to watch NP! playing. Tay played damn good with awp lately.

Would be nice with a new top danish team. Although i can't see it happening with this lineup. Hope they prove me wrong!

How can you say that? Almost exact same lineup that made them a danish top team in the beginning of 2010 in Ravens, now with TAY, who is making enormous progress, and soon will be one of the better players on the danish scene. This team has a bright future IMO :P

One good event? Really? This is just out of my memory: 3 @ European Championship 5-8 @ IOL-Finals 2 @ HKLAN #3 1 @ Steelseries League 11-12 @ IEMWC And this is only over a couple of months. If they would deliver like that for an entire year (read: if they would stay together for a year), they would sure be a new danish top team, at least Top10 in the world imo. Ofc that's not the absolute top, but another danish team in top5 is too optimistic.

They took in Snappi instead of him, and Bazooun is playing with PUTA at DH Winter, and it is 99 % sure that he will continue with PUTA after that event.
