CNB win KODE5 Brazil

CNB-Gaming have booked a spot at the KODE5 Global Finals in Peru with a 16-13 victory over compLexity.

CNB required only one map to win the KODE5 qualifier, after beating compLexity 16-10 on de_nuke in the Upper Final.

The tournament, which took place at the O2 VenomNetwork in Curitiba, experienced massive delays all weekend, and the poor internet connection made it impossible to have HLTV coverage for the last matches.

In the final, CNB confirmed the good form they had shown earlier in the tournament, and wrapped things up with a 16-13 success on de_train.

CNB-Gaming will now join the following list of teams for the KODE5 Global Finals, which will take place from 3-5 December in Miraflores, Peru:

coL always managed to win over cnb and with scores such 16x1 / 16x0 (both are true story) They didnt practice that much and cnd did their job. Lets wait to coL get invited or try one of that 4 spots one day before Kode5.

CNB is not better than coL. coL is a world class team, that has consistently outperformed many top international teams for years. CNB is just the team that was put together to beat and compete with compLexity. Very similar to how Full-Gaming would beat mTw, DINC would pull close matches with EG, etc. the only reason these teams are causing upsets is because they devote all of their time to studying and counterstratting the opposite team from the same country. All CNB does is watch coL.br demos, and thats why they won this event. they won't be able to compete with Na'Vi, mTw, fnatic, FX or any other world class team.

coL went to overtime vs Authority, and lost twice to CNB lol, that's why I dislike coL, they have the talent, but they dont have the consistency/motivation. coL is much more talented than CNB, but CNB has the motivation, a much better team to cheer for IMO.

The tournament was played in double elimination system. compLexity lost to CNB in de_nuke (winners final) and de_train (which is aknowlegedly the best map for the ex-firegamers crew). So it is clear that CNB deserved that victory and the spot at the global finals.
