Wizards drop CS team

Wizards have announced that they have decided to cut all bonds with their Counter-Strike division.

The Spaniards had failed to qualify for DreamHack Winter 2010 through the national qualifier last month, in which the team proved to be feeble compared to x6tence who sealed the victory.

Just two weeks prior to the Spanish DH qualifier, Wizards acquired Cristopher "poWer" Rodríguez, but his stint has now come to an end as the organization has decided to drop the squad.

According to what defs.org are reporting, the decision comes with the organization putting new policies into work.

Moreover, Wizards have not ruled out the possibility of recruiting a new team, but the door will only be ajar for teams consiting of "young talent with the desire to claim the Spanish throne".

Wizards had the following team:

Roberto "dIkA" Lopez
Jesús "oFF" Castillo
José Vicente "Spanisfury" González Moreno
Omar "arki" Chakkor
Cristopher "poWer" Rodríguez

Hm why? Of course Alternate isn't doing anything on the international scene like in the past 06/07 but a 2nd place at the german eps finals isn't that bad ;)

2nd place in the German EPS means absolutely nothing, Mousesports is the only decent team in that league and they won the past 17 seasons

In order to claim the 'Spanish throne' the only way is to pick x6. Still this line-up was pretty decent and the future line-up might even feature some of these players....

Spain (and Wizards) needs a new MusambaN1. dIkA is a good leader, but if you see the lastest years, MusambaN1 was on the top with his teams. In fact, I remember some years ago, MusambaN1 picked up for his team players like sioKR or n1ce (they were kicked from x6tence) meanwhile x6tence recruited elite players like FeldmaN and neptuNo. In this situation, MusambaN1 was able to lead his team to the victory and sioKR showed his best performance with him. Perhaps MusambaN1 is not the best aimer of Spain, or the best awp, but his leadership makes the difference in Spain. The problem is that not all days a new MusambaN1 come from lowest levels... EDIT: wow, I am a MusambaN1's fanboy :S
