Universal Soldiers raid Voodoo

Universal Soldiers have announced they have snared the Voodoo Gaming Counter-Strike department.

USoldiers made headlines in Warsaw back in August when they managed to break into the top three at the Polish WCG qualifier, beating Fear Factory for the bronze.

The organisation has now, however, decided to part company with the team due to their recent lack of motivation and time to practice on a regular basis.

Grzegorz "brd" Ścieński has guaranteed that the breakup occurred on good terms and that his team will stick together, though in a different organisation.

To make up for this loss, Universal Soldiers' invite fell on Voodoo Gaming, who are currently involved in the Intel Challenge Super Cup 7.

The Polish side lost their first match in the competition, a 24-6 defeat at the hands of Copenhagen Wolves, but are still very much in contention for a place in the LAN stage.

Universal Soldiers now have:

I would like to see more of polish teams on the scene :), i mean FX is great good but fresh blood is needed ...

What happens when FX stop playing then? I can´t se the bright side in Poland when it´s over for FX. Sad but true

atm would be hard to replace some1, Drive is no more madfragger, Luq is retired and wont back probably, ths, myth not this lvl imo.

There's many good players but they can't play on highest level. All polish tournaments are dominated by FX so other polish teams haven't good motivation to play/practise. Look at pasha, early he was poor player but now he's got experience playing with top players and he's very good (he gets stronger and stronger). Players like drive or insider are very good but they haven't chance to get on top atm.

rulon is far from fresh blood. Hes played in the polish top for ages, he even played in PGS just before the "golden five" was formed :P but some of these other guys are fresh blood yeah, wondering how they will develop!
