forZe cease operations

Dmitri "hooch" Bogdanov has confirmed to HLTV.org that forZe have put all of their operations on hold until further notice.

The decision leaves without a home the team which was trying to pick itself up after being left with just Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov and Dmitri "hooch" Bogdanov last week.

The Russian team had been part of forZe since December 09, when they joined from tp.uSports after a sensational fourth-place finish at the WCG finals in Chengdu.

forZe's last two months were troubled by successive roster changes, with brothers Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov and Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov leaving for Meet Your Makers after a bust-up with Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov during a match at the RuSh3D LAN center.

Bogdanov then linked up with forZe, but the team was forced to bring in three Ukrainian players - Serg "lmbt" Bejanov, Kiril "ANGE1" Karasiow and Emil "Kucher" Akhundov - to also make up for the losses of Birukov and Ruslan "Dober" Shariffylin.

hooch: building mighty44 with HEL1

However, after failing to qualify for the IEM5 European Championship with a 2-0 defeat to Full-Gaming, forZe cleared out all the Ukrainians to focus on a Russian roster.

Bogdanov told HLTV.org that he and Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov are currently assembling a new team, known as mighty44, together with some young talents.

mighty44 participated in the New Year's Show online event last week, finishing runners-up to USSR.

Questioned if the three players - Nikita "Dio" Trifonov, "kibaken" and "evil" - who joined the forZe duo will continue with mighty44, Bogdanov stated that "some of them will be on the team."

On that match dosia bought deagle+armor several rounds in a row and just rushed the middle on dist2. He was given an ultimatum from overdrive, but didn't accept it. Fox supported his brother and both of them were kicked from forze.

man i feel bad for hooch, when he was in united and adren, i thought they were a great team. I've seen them and navi win their lan events etc then they kept changing rosters and arbalet stoped sponsoring them and it went down from there.

hel1 plays clever and he is very dangerous in mixes because you can hardly understand what he is gonna do. The same was in forze (tp|usports) in 2009. But in 2010 the opponents learnt to read his actions, and forze lost one of their trump cards.

Two months ago when forZe reassembled their lineup I said that were going to be done in a two months max, and look what's happened now. Russian teams are even more unstable than American teams, and worst off, they never last long enough to win much of anything. Its silly as hell.
