oskar joins Playing-Ducks

Playing Ducks have announced they have picked up Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný for the new EAS season.

The Czech veteran was last seen playing as a stand-in for Clan Less Plus in the online qualifier for the IEM5 European Championship, just days after his own team, eSuba, were eliminated in the same qualifying round.

Contacted by HLTV.org, Šťastný confessed he has decided to try his luck in Germany due to the lack of events taking place in his homeland.

He is not the only Czech player to make the move, though, as Jonáš "jonz" Rech, a former member of nEophyte and sixbanners, has also linked up with Playing Ducks.

oskar in German adventure

The German side are currently competing in the ESL Amateur Series, having finished in ninth place last season.

They are aiming big for the new campaign, and have also brought in LeiSure duo Sebastian "wasch0000" Ruf and Andreas "SNooper" Ermel.

Playing Ducks now have:

Jens "kee" Geschke
Sebastian "wasch0000" Ruf

lol. you saw the last match between them and that`s all? oskar played well and that show he`s better. haha. don`t think so.I saw all the matches and SeDaN was better than him.

I even didnt see that match, the only thing I know that every match eSuba vs some top team he just shined over top european players also he is on top at stats here at hltv.org

i can see why he is making this move but i don't think he can carry playing ducks to a decent season. best of luck for him though, hope everything works out well, he's a very good player.

What he's doing?! based on his skills he can join a much better German team if he's THAT thrilled from playing with Germans. He fits easily to teams as TBH/mTw etc, a shame, he's now destroying himself by playing with those noobs.

What are you talking about? Ducks speaks a different German than TBH or mTw for example? I don't believe so. If oskar can speak German, he's able to join a better .de team.

It's chance for his CS carrier ... He played for a long time in eSuba, but in our country aren't a lot of events ... no offense to the strong german scene, and to that team, but oskar could do better. I'm not saying he should go to alternate but Im saying EPS team would be better for him.

they ended up 9th last year so they will have to qualify first right? so he will be spending at least 1 season in EAS, + not all of those players are on his level (or even any?! :p)
