UMX replace TyLoo for IEM5

The Electronic Sports League has announced that UMX-Gaming will replace TyLoo for the IEM5 World Championship.

The announcement comes shortly after the news about TyLoo being unable to attend the IEM5 World Championship in Hannover because of Likan "KingZ" Luo's expired passport.

While at first hand believed that Electronic Sahara would be the team to replace TyLoo in the event of canceled participation, it has been made clear that UMX-Gaming are the official substitutes.

UMX-Gaming managed a third-place finish in the Chinese qualifier, placing behind GANK. As reported then, it is still believed that the mix team would not have the necessary funds to attend the international event.

UMX heading to Hannover

Intel Extreme Masters 5 World Championship will run between 1-5 March at CeBIT in the northwestern German port city Hannover. The tournament's exact prize purse is yet to be disclosed.
