Millenium win Atomic Re-So 2011

Millenium won the 2011 edition of Atomic Re-So with a 2-1 victory over nSydia.

The tournament, which took place in Mont-de-Marsan, attracted a total of 16 teams from France, with some of the country's biggest names in attendance in this prestigious LAN event.

With QWERTY choosing against competing at Re-So in order to better prepare itself for Maxlan next month, the spotlight was on Electronic Sahara, who had won the last big event in the country, Spirit Lan.

However, eSahara failed to reach the final of the event after losing to Millenium 2-1 in the semi-final stage.

At the other end of the bracket, nSydia progressed to the final with a 2-0 beating of LDLC.com, who went into this event with two stand-ins.

In the final, nSydia won the first map, de_nuke, 25:22, but then Millenium picked itself up and won the next two maps, de_dust2 and de_inferno, 16:14 and 16:10, respectively, to win the title.

he's in esahara actually, the previous lineup of millenium have been kicked after iem 4 euro, more than a year ago :D

Ah ok thanks, my memory is dated lol. I swear soon enough I'll think forest GTR and Gux were still in fnatic haha :P Unfortunately for me when I think of esahara I remember Joe Miller's boobs, so my memory tends to backfire sometimes >.<

-M- have a great lineup dont get me wrong but IMO ioRek and haRts although they do bring experience will bring them down on the international scene....if -M- dropped them and picked up say loduN and Heuka/mshz hey would have the best team in France..better than eS anyway drizzer/CosMo/Diodel is a such a dirty trio on LAN

No player can replace harts. He's just the best leader in France, and even one of the best in Europe. He's proven it so many times, so as long as he's active he won't and shouldn't be replaced. Heuka is very good tho, I agree on that.

well maybe because it is frustrating to see many great players but no "great" teams in France, able to compete on an international level in a steady manner. Since Na'Vi, everyone feels like doing a all-star team is the solution, and I tend not to disagree !

Agree too. But personal issues are pretty intense in French cs teams and the best players tend to prefer playing with friends than with "better" players with whom they're less comfortable.
