DaY in alchemists Xperia PLAY lineup

Jon Thomas "DaY" Rudstrøm has been announced as the third member in alchemists Unleashed's Xperia PLAY lineup.

Yesterday it got really old-school when alchemists announced Ola "elemeNt" Moum as the second man in the alchemists lineup for Xperia PLAY.

The Norwegian organization continues to unveil the members and today revealed the third member, which is an ex-4Kings member. It is, as you might have guessed Jon Thomas "DaY" Rudstrøm who will be donning the colors of alchemists at Xperia PLAY in Copenhagen.

Rudstrøm was last seen playing at DreamHack Winter 2010, where he also represented alchemists. It will be a pleasant reunion for Rudstrøm, as he has played countless times with both Preben "prb" Gammelsæter and Ola "elemeNt" Moum in the past.

Catch DaY in the Xperia PLAY tournament

Element has been playing online for some time now. He is currently participating in "esportnorge league" together with XpreZ (prb, vertigo, syrtekz, element, everlast) which basically is the Norwegian Championships in counter strike. There is going to be a LAN final after group stages(which has been on going since february) and the following double elimination tournament which will decide what top4 teams will be going to the LAN final.

sounds great and ye i heard about that he have played mixes etc sometimes but i didnt expect to see him in a big tournament like Xperia , its awesome :)

DaY is a solid player :) This is an all Norwegian lineup BTW. Moddii will probably be participating with his own team (BARBARR, kalle, tacky, x), if that team is attending this event that is.

Why do people keep mentioning old players like naikon, nola, xione, oops, juve9le etc? None of them will be in this lineup, those guys have not been playing CS for years(not even online). This is a "star" lineup yes, but not with stars who have not been playing any at all for years. Take element; even though he have not been playing professionaly for many years he have been playing in online tournaments and leagues for a while now, he is not completely out of shape. Element can frag decently, but I think they added him mostly for the routine and maybe calling abillities(Unless zen gets added as a caller), not to mention that element has played a lot with prb Etc in earlier teams which should make it easier to adapt to this lineup. My first guess for the last players was REAL, vertigo and syrtekz but recent rumours has it that zen and hellzerk(I dunno if he left deathwish or if deathwish wont be attending after all) will be the final two to join this lineup. This was kind of dissapointing, I was hoping to see REAL in this lineup, but this is just rumours, tomorrow we will see wether this is true or not.

As far as I know aU looks for a 'Norwegian-based foundation' which, as far as I see it, does not mean that all the players have to be Norwegians, just like in the previous setting with two Swedes. I didn't refer to a legend but to a good player and, as said, everyone likes good players in one's team.

norway had so many good players, and have some now : naikon, element, xeqtr, dark, damien, noLa, KF3, raven, oops, xione, syrtekz, vertigo, kalle, tacky, zEn, azid, enoksen, day..etc.. But my favourite norwegian team was Catch Gamer (BSL, juvenile, juzam, zevy, naikon) Shame that norway havent a good team now
