compLexity have announced the addition of Matheus "urb" Oliveira from playArt.sp to their Counter-Strike division.

The Brazilian talent had been on trial with the former FireGamers team for over two weeks, having helped them win the TEAMPLAY Summer 2011 online competition at the end of March.

He will fill the void created by Bruno "bit" Fukuda's release by compLexity in the aftermath of a disappointing campaign at the IEM5 World Championship.

Oliveira is regarded as one of the hottest commodities in the Brazilian market and was voted the Most Valuable Player of the Mega GamerHouse Acervus cup in September, which his then-team won against the likes of Made in Brazil and CNB-Gaming.

urb completes coL switch

The new coL player joins in from playArt.sp, who released him shortly after learning of his intention to start practicing with the ex-FireGamers squad.

Oliveira will not fly with the rest of the team to Denmark, where coL will be at Copenhagen Games to play in the Counter-Strike: Source competition as part of their deal with TargetDown. The name of the first LAN event which the team will play with the new lineup has not yet been released.

what part of that was flaming? hltv.org used his full alias in every article for weeks, and brazilians kept complaining about it. you can still visit the articles to see it. brazilians (among other select nations) embarrass themselves and get mad at americans for pointing it out. maybe its not your fault due to it being an english only website. maybe youre all einstein in portuguese, who knows.

I know you're being ironic, but this is not true. fnx = fenix = phoenix nak = nakano = his last name bit = bitoca = slang used to small people tall urb = urubuzinho = don't know why BTT = batata = potato spc = spacca = his last name fln = fallen = don't know why. but fallen started to use FLN when he joined the team. atleast I never saw fallen using this nickname before being part of FG/coL. We just like to shorten our nicknames. ;)

I don't know what he plays as, I just know what he has been called here on the site. And from that point of view I think it is weird to suddenly change his nick without any explanation. You could of course argue that he should have been called 'urb' all along but that didn't really happen.

if they have hard training in Europe they will be one of the best teams in the world, like mibr times. The brazilians teams have the worst train possible. I really don't know how a team that trains with super-low teams and horrible ping go to WCG and places 4th place. I really really admire them. maybe you are wrong, before the iem5 grand finals, they were at germany training against the european top teams and what did they get ? i don't mean that TCM-Gaming, m5, redcode and EG are bad teams but i'd like to see if they were in the group b how far they could go.

you've said that they don't play against the top teams and they get good results. IEM 5 shows you're wrong about coL. they trained but they didn't have a good result. stop thinking coL is the best because they aren't. unfortunately the strongest team atm is Na'Vi (nothing against ukraine or brazil) and the no.2 is mTw. if play in europe was the matter, they should be the top2 and they weren't. CS is talent.

you don't undestand how they have good results with bad situations to play. just to show how you are wrong with your thoughts, they didn't play in europe before WCG and they were 4th. 1 week before IEM 5 they came and were 5th. if you are a bit intelligent you'll see what i mean. europe doesn't help you to play good otherwise dateam, 4K, x6tence, TCM and etc would surprise the giants.
