you got to remember that they pretty recently made line-up changes, where as teams like Mouz and TCM have been stable since at least january which gives them the higher seed. The only team i see them being above, is rg-esports who havn't really shown anything and just made changes.

might on the same lvl as TCM but i feel like those two have been on the same lvl for a long time, and i actually expect mouz to be better than M5 they got better players on paper + now they've had 3 months to pracc. unlike last times 2 weeks.

Omg, one more retard here... Watch post i replied, and then talk your bullshit. I just said that M5 played at world finals and mouz didn't. That means M5 > mouz. And I know m5 won mouz at euro finals, i'm not talking about it. How mouz could be overall better if they didn't participate world championship. Can't you just understand it, moron?

because Mouz have had a lot of time to practice since they played IEM euro and they got a better line-up on paper, besides M5 recently made changes.

That's a wrong opinion, everyone is subjective. You should rely on facts and not on your feelings. This is the only way to make seeding fair.

well that't your opinion. You can't be subjective every thing you do is done by a person thus everything you judge is objective. M5 just changed a player and should we be subjective they should have no seed at all cause they havn't proven that there's enough chemistry between the new and the old players to make it work, but our objective mind says that there most likely is. Just like our objective mind says that Mouz got great players on their team and they've had a long time to play therefor they are most likely a lot better.

by your logic of stability equaling higher seed, then half the teams in low seed should be ranked in high seed. while teams like sk, mouz, m5, lions, and rg should be lower/medium seed since they had roster changes in a 3 month period. Sorry to say but your wrong, and he is right. Results are the only thing that should have status when deciding the seeds. Most certainly TCM is not a better team than m5, while I cannot say they are a worse team than m5 either, I CAN SAY that their results are far worse than that of m5. Therefor it's illogical that TCM should have a higher seed than m5. Sadly I'd even go so far as to say it probably nation bias.

seems like you didn't get my point, i said that you need to have some theory in it when making seeds, because the team of M5 that made some decent results lately is not the same as the one attending thus one need to theorize whether they are still as good or if they lost a bit, seems like Nixon and Realition (i believe it is) theorized that they most likely wasn't as good as TCM for exampel.

fnatic would never bring in a player that haven't played for 5 years. lol they always take good and active raw talents. if fnatic took in 3 players that has been inactive a long time then they for sure would drop to low seed because that would not be the famous well performing fnatic anymore. Would be a washed up team instead.

elemeNt played an event with REAL and co in 2008, and placed forth. I think it was WCG. I see your point though. They've pracced very little, so they'll probably lose 16-5 and 16-10(or something) to the high and mid seeded teams.

DaY, prb, elemeNt = washed up. ok maybe prb is not so washed up as DaY and elemeNt but he is not what he used to be. they don't deserve higher seed just because of 2 players.

Maybe you're right but M5 had shown some pretty decent results on the past international events and RG is a newly formed team who didn't show any results yet. I think you can not seed a team based on expectations, M5 definitely deserves a higher seed than both TCM and RG based on their past results.

i agree according to RG but M5 is not the same team that made those decent results, besides TCM shoved pretty much the same as M5, and TCM have stayed together since IEM WC. however as said why they are below RG makes no sense in my head either RG made changes + only won some random lan at the balkans with no real competition (no offence).

what have they achieved the past year? Oh wait, they are actually just a mix of players who used to be good who are playing only at this event. As far as I can remember they played some online tournaments recently and and played pretty terrible. Don't get me wrong, the could be good but they could also suck and newly formed/mix teams have to proof themselves and don't deserve a high/medium seed.

I don't get why teams like Alchemists and Cheaptimes gets a seed, when they actually don't have paid their tickets yet. It's possible they will, and their payments haven't been registret, but it seems kind a wierd.

Wow, absolutely terrible seedings. What strikes me most is that RG-esports is in the higher seed whereas M5 is in the medium seed? The recently former RG didn't attend any major lan events and have a newly formed team. M5 recently placed top4-8 at the IEM World/Europe after beating mousesports, SK & TCM. IMO, M5 to high seed and RG-Esports/TCM, Cheap Times to medium seed. eSrael/munkka to lower seed.

If M5 is so damn better then medium seed, they will show us that, take a chillpill russians.. aU is also maybe better them low seed, i dnu, havent seen the guys for like 4 years.. But, i think aU should have sent their future lineup too this tourney, this is just waste of resources..

at the tournaments where M5 and TCM both played there havn't been much dividng them + M5 just changed line-up might be the reason for them being seeded below them. though RG being above i don't see the reason for.

the seeds look perfect except for alchemists being a low seed, imo they should be medium at least. their lineup on paper is amazing. that's just my opinion. But then again lineups on paper aren't everything, so the seeds look pretty decent, we're looking at a really good competition ^_^

alchemists and cheap times might be better then eSrael , nevertheless eSrael ranked higher because of it past achivements. eSrael exsist since 2001 or 2002 and over the years it managed to acomplish some achivments in the world eSport scene. CPL 2006 , 2007 (or 2008 dont remember) , ESWC 2005 with their galacticos squade , countless CB events , and many more...

Maybe. But I don't compare team potentials, individual player skill etc. I think what does matter is teams achievements on intl scene for the past year. TCM, mouz and M5 at least participated in IEM5 and other events.

seeds prevent several good teams being stacked in the same group. groups consist of 1 high seed, 1 medium seed, 1 low seed team and some teams that aren't seeded.
