Gamerzone lose CS team

The Gamerzone CS team have informed HLTV.org they are on the lookout for a new organisation to represent.

The Swedish side were on show at Xperia PLAY at the end of April with ex-Begrip star André "keiz" Carlsson as a stand-in for Alexander "brownie" Browne, failing to go beyond the first group stage as they picked up defeats against SK Gaming and x6tence.

Relegated to the B tournament, Gamerzone showed a much better figure, and beat the likes of eSrael and Deathwish to win the competition.

After the event, the team decided to depart Gamerzone as they hope to find an organisation which can offer them better conditions.

"Gamerzone cannot send us to the coming events this year, and we as team have big expectations for ASUS spring, so we have decided to leave Gamerzone for an organisation that can send us somewhere," Markus "lindwe" Lindwe told HLTV.org.

"I think we will just grow more and more in these upcoming events, we are growing fast as a team now and are really looking forward to attending these events."

Despite the team's early exit in the main tournament, Lindwe is happy with how his side performed in Copenhagen.

"Overall, I think we surpased people's thoughts and expectations about us," he added.

"We lost to x6tence 16-14, and they lost 16-14 to FX and drew with mousesports, so it was not that bad.

"We also won the B tournament, so even though we did not go that far in the main tournament, we actually played really well at the event."

Meanwhile, the team have announced the addition of former Gamingplace.se member Fredrik "mono" Hong, who will replace Brownie on a permanent basis.

"We think that the chemistry in the team will be better and that and mono's ingame-style is a better fit for the team," Lindwe added.

The former Gamerzone team, who will go under the temporary name Bteam, can be reached at [email protected].

well, if i were them i would have stayed in gamerzone and at the same time talking to other organisations if i really believe i/we deserved something better. it's just stupid to leave an organisation for something very uncertain (read: to get a better offer than gamerzone).

true. i wanted to imput (in general, maybe not this case) that reality is not solid, things change, players emerge and new eras begin etc. in this case, they seem to have the will on the "next step" but the feets are already in the air, a bit ahead of themselves. overconfidense idk but you nailed the point they act with certainity about something not certain, not definite. thats a bold move.

When I played with A2G, we won vs icsu with 16-3, they played 15-15 vs k23, and they won later on with 2-0 vs NaVi, does that make us as good as NaVi? Omg=D

haha, are you guys for real? if any organization will send you to ASUS they are retarded. and even though i hate gamerzone and spector that's kind of a bad move to just leave them right after they payed your trip to denmark. you guys performed as expected since eSrael and deathwish both sucks, so nothing surprising there. don't think of yourselves as superstars who should get free trips around the world, 'cause everybody in the team sucks badly, except for monolito now. good luck in the future, you don't deserve any sponsored trip even to swedish events.

thank you, hate was a little too harsch. dislike is the right word here. and that is because of the way you run the organization and how you act like a moron defending gamerzone everywhere. fact is you still haven't payed out any of the prizes you owe people since almost a year ago, and you spend money on sending shitty teams to denmark instead of paying out those prizes.

if u outta read the contect of the articles you´d see that the teams remains however drops the organisation, should not be hard for any of these two teams to find another organisation.
