New profiles!

As some of you may have noticed, we have redesigned the profiles, along with the redesign we have added a few features, such as;

• Blogs
• Galleries
• A Friends system
• A Fan system
• New tabs

So, how do all these new features work? First, blogs, those should be pretty self-explanatory, you can blog about just about everything you want, as long as it is reasonable. For examples of blogs you can look at Nix0n and shell’s. More blogs from the entire HLTV.org crew will be up shortly, and we will do our best to keep blogging about our everyday doings..

Galleries are also pretty simple, we have given you access to uploading 10 different pictures, using the HLTV.org gallery system.

The friend system is on a request-verify basis, meaning you request to become someones friend, and then he can verify, or deny your request.

The fan system is something new, you can be a fan of 1 person, if you choose to become fan of another person, you will no longer be a fan of the first.

The new tabs are site wide, the coverage tabs, the betting tabs, and profile tabs have been updated to look a tad better, they also now contain a bit for more profiles, e.g. galleries, and links to blogs.

Besides the profile stuff we have made a few changes to the right most column, it now features forum activity instead of forum threads / replies. It also features the latest blogs.

This is all part of a lot of new features that we are planning, and we hope that you will like what we bring to the table. We also hope everyone will go and update their profile to fill out the missing fields.

As always when doing new features there might be some bugs, so if you see one, please either write it in the forum, or send me a message, and I will get it quashed as soon as possible!
