Paranoids lose BUX to retirement

Paranoids have revealed that Nuno "BUX" Simões has decided to retire from gaming.

This decision comes just days after the team had to settle for third at the EPT3 finals after losing to madjick in the semi-finals.

Simões, a former member of Excello and exotic, has stepped down as player as he does not want to "hinder the team's progress."

"My professional life does not leave me much time for CS or for my personal life, so we concluded that the best decision was for me to retire," he told HLTV.org.

Paranoids' bronze at the EPT3 finals came as a surprise as the team had won the event before that, XLParty.

The Portuguese team will be competing in theSGL European Championship, with the likes of a2g and nSydia in the same group.

With just a four-man roster, Paranoids have called in Defining Stars ace Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira, who is widely regarded as one of the country's top talents, to play as stand-in in the league.

Paranoids currently have:

Tiago "dzt" Gonçalves
André "keznitt" Morais
João "DARKY" Ribeiro
Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes

Was just dumb because weapoN is an awp and they already have fox. They tried to put fox on rifles again but it didn't work out, bt weapoN is one of the best portuguese players. IMO he would be good in this team, because Paranoids need an awp. :)

imo weapoN > SpEcTruM Yea I saw him, but c'mon we are talking about weapoN, he was in evocom with old friends of him don't remember what tour was and he almost by himself reached the quarter finals. When he was in exotic with b1Nd (btw RIP), axoN, dakmoR and luNa he was so fucking sick dude and exotic reached finals in that tour I think was Kode5. And not to forget when he was in defining stars with coachi and company. :)

yes, defs with coachi was his time, but you gotta realize weapon since his First departure from defs he's lost in-game imo.

Yea, weapoN is desmotivated. Since he was booted from coachi's team he never was the same, but when he was in exotic with axoN he was pretty sick.
