Spixelania Commences!

This weekend Spixelania will be hosted in the Swedish town of Umeå. Teams will be battling for not only a prize purse of over 6,000€ but the also two spots in the WCG Swedish Qualifier Finals.

Some top Scandinavian teams have gathered at the event this weekend including the likes of NiP, Team Logitech and SoA. With the fine sum of prize money there is including the two all-important WCG Qualification spots up for grabs you can be sure we are in for some thrilling matches and top entertainment.

The seedings are as follows:

1. NiP
2. Logitech.fi
3. SoA
4. Begrip
5. Team Convention
6. FearMe
7. Playg
8. Infame

The tournament is set out in a double-elimination bracket with 24 spots. However, not every spot has been taken and so all of the seeded teams have already progressed to the second round. The first round commences at 15:00CET with the second round following at 16:30CET.

Update: NiP managed to win Spixelania going through the event without losing one game. NiP have now won 60,000 SEK along with a place in the Swedish WCG Qualifier, Congratulations ninjas!
