Millenium receive DH Summer invite

The DreamHack chiefs have announced that Millenium have received the last invitation for the upcoming Counter-Strike tournament.

With a total of 10 slots having been filled through invites issued by the organizers, two remaining positions will be filled through the on-site BYOC qualifier.

The previous batch of invitations, which were handed out earlier this week, went to the hands of fnatic, Power Gaming and Moscow Five.

Millenium recently secured a slot for the French World Cyber Games qualifier, which they did through beating GameLine at Nexen 2011.

At DreamHack Winter 2010, Millenium made it out of the group stage, but fell short to SK Gaming in their opening playoff match.

DreamHack Summer 2011 will run from June 18-21 in Jönköping, Sweden, and hand out approximately €11,000 in the Counter-Strike tournament.

In addition, HLTV.org's statistics will support the organizers by helping them decide the tournament's MVP (Most Valuable Player), who will receive a MSI GT680 gaming netbook.

Do you even know the meaning of BYOC? It doesn't make sense to bring your own computer when you have to play from home unless your own computer is at work which seems quite odd to me.

byoc means "bring your own computer ', byoc is always played before dreamhack to identify the participants of it, in this case top2 of byoc will join the list of participants :)

I agree with you on inet but don't underestimate them at lan or you will probably be surprised. Remember them during the last Gamegune, same line up but under the tag FairFrag, they did pretty well :)

Really missed eSahara in those BIG TOURNAMENTS lately. If i'm not mistaken, they only participated in 1 international lan event (Intel Extreme Masters 5 European Finals) so far in 2011.

M is sponsored by MSI. DH is sponsored by MSI. eSahara is not. Both are able to perform well if they take it seriously however. But eS showed much better skill in last lan competitions in France. These months when i saw M playing they were very far from their real potential. I wonder if they will start practicing seriously again for DH, i hope so.
