Virtus.pro present new team

Virtus.pro have decided to dispense with the services of their team, today presenting a new squad of representatives.

The surprising announcement to release four of the team's players was made by their manager, Anton "Sneg" Cherepennikov, through a blog on the organization's official website.

Cherepennikov started out by giving reason to all the roster changes that have taken place in the team over the last year, addressing each and every member that has possessed a role.

While Cherepennikov explained the reasons to why certain players were released from their duties, he also praised players such as Alexander "Talisman" Talismanov and Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov.

hooch and team enters Virtus.pro

In April, Virtus.pro raided Iron Will, a move which marked the organization's return to the Counter-Strike scene, from which they had been inactive since November of 2009.

The squad had set their sights on making a notable appearance at the recent ASUS Spring tournament, but their show concluded earlier than what was hoped, in the second group stage.

The departure of the former Iron Will team will pave way for the entrance of USSR, in which Alan "Fly" Temirov has been replaced with Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov from tao.

Virtus.pro now have:

Roman "hacker" Abramov
Dmitriy "hooch" Bogdanov
Michael "evil" Garanin
Vadim "micE" Zimin
Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov

Anton "Cyclone" Lapshenkov (manager)

I haven't really read about the insider story concerning this team, but Lex being back soon could also mean he'll be back in another team. I'm sure it's Lex's decision if he wants to play with hooch and not the manager's, and since I doubt he wants to, he'll probably form a new team or probably stick with his old mates.

yeah, btw I suspect arroganse is considered a valuable characteristic or attribute in sweden, many of them talk and act so arrogantly sometimes with nothing to show for themselves lol , I think its part of the swedish culture perhaps (or lack of) *Im not talking about the swedish guy above, but some other really stupid and annoying ones :p

haha yea, it's all about chemistry... (ie. ceh9 isn't that skillful as some of the DTS members, still he is crucial to NaVi's sucess so they don't change players. :))

ahahahah dude ur making me laugh to death +_+ actually ceh9 is one of the most skillfull players in Na`Vi. he has been playing since 2002 or 2001 i don't remember exactly ,but the fact is that in 14 years old he was an owner of one of top teams in Ukraine ,and after that he perfomed in kNET for a long time .Even comparing ceh9 with mark ,it turns out that mark has been perfoming on his country's stage only beginning from 2007-2008 )

I know ceh9 well and he is one of my favourites personally, I just say that aimwise he does not reach the level of starix/markeloff/edward. :) Since you're from Ukraine you probably know NaVi well, I'm maybe wrong here. :) I hope you still got what I was trying to say there, even if my example was wrong.

I'm dissapointed D: But it's okey, we are in 2011 year.. everything MUST be fast and profitable, and if something doesn't work, needs to be changed/replaced quickly. Anyways.. VP organization didn't trust in their own players and always forced them to win :) VP failed to show short-term success and this is the result. Probably will be the same with this new squad.
