DigitalMind add C. Jansen

Several weeks ago DigitalMind easily won the ESWC Dutch Finals which got them tickets for the grand finals in Paris in July.

After the team qualified for the finals in Paris, trx said that he could not make it to Paris because he has to attend the wedding of his brother. After this news the team decided to bring a good old friend and former member of the team Clint "ex0r" Jansen.

The team have said that ex0r will only be a standin to the team and will participate in the ESWC Grand Finals and at DreamHack.

We managed to catch up with trx to ask him a few questions.

Did u have other player under consideration?
No, first we were thinking which player was the best choice, we soon came out by our old player ex0r and contacted him. It looked nice to him so he easily accepted it,

What kind of qualities were u looking for in the player you wanted as a stand-in.?
We were looking for a good, nice and stable player who we can trust. We all know ex0r is there for us and is very active so he can train a lot with us for Dreamhack and ESWC, that was the nr1 priority,

What does it feel like not to attend possibly the best event in e-sports?
It feels very bad, i always wanted to go to ESWC and it looks very nice to me etc but my mom wanted me to go to the wedding of my brother which i can understand of course. Hope there is an ESWC 2008 which i can attend ;)

If ex0r does well with the team and you pull off some impressive results, would there be an option to keep him in the lineup? (as right now hes just a stand-in)
No thats not how we planned it, he's just a stand-in and i will be back after ESWC no matter how well they will perform.

Thanks for your time trx, any last comments or shoutouts?
I want to thank our sponsor Corepad for making alot more possible for us and thanks to u ;)

The team attending ESWC and Dreamhack for dM will be;

Netherlands Dennis "seezung" Seesing
Netherlands Dennis "muh" van Maurik
Netherlands Roy "r0y" Gerritsen
Netherlands Tom "tommeh" Nijenhuis
Netherlands Clint "ex0r" Jansen (Stand-in)

We here at HLTV.org wish DigitalMind the best of luck.

Well nobody knows... i mean, they won't win the cup thats for sure, but they can finish in the top 10 or mayb 5. The old team was good with Luce, Apollo, Bax, Tommeh and minto.. dont know how the new team is going to preform in paris.. gl
