BASiC: "OK contract is void"

Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm has commented on Online Kingdom's statement saying he is still contracted with the organization until January 2012.

With the news about Online Kingdom's new formation, the Portuguese-based organization stated that Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm is still legally contracted with Online Kingdom, and would not be able to sign a contract with another organization until 2012.

Fagerholm has given HLTV.org a comment on the matter, stressing that the contract with Online Kingdom is void:

"It seems to be lost on Online Kingdom that once they break multiple different parts of the contract, it becomes void. A contract only works if both parties hold up to their part of the agreement, but OK has broken the contract multiple times, so I no longer have any contractual obligations towards Online Kingdom."

With this said, Fagerholm has put his side of the controversy to the public, whether Online Kingdom will have any more to say on the matter is yet to be seen.

We have contacted Online Kingdom and are currently waiting for their reply, so stay tuned for more updates.

So you automatically assume that people know how old the people of the organization are? In this case I automatically assumed that the "bunch of kids" meant BASiC and co. while he is/they are still pretty young. I must say that this is very lame once again. a) why bother having a contract if you can't live up to it as the organization (if that is true)? b) why can't the organization discuss with the player beforehand about the ongoing contract when it is clear that he wants to leave the team, instead they put in news after it has already happened? c) how hard can it be for the player to discuss with the organization before making any new team announcements that how could it be solved? It doesn't even matter who is right, the thing is that it appears that these situations would be solved by just having a small talk between the organization and the player but instead suddenly everyone is incapable of speaking and they both think they are right afterwards..
