ENTiTY win Balkan Challenge

ENTiTY have been crowned winners of Balkan Challenge Summer 2011 in Trikala, after winning the second map against HEADSHOTBG in the Grand Final.

The Grand Final started on de_train and with HSBG winning the pistol round from the Terrorists side. After having two eco rounds, ENTiTY went on the buy, which made them win four rounds in a row, to lead HSBG 4-3. HSBG stroke back and claimed the lead, bringing them to an 8-5 score line before ENTiTY stepped in and took the last two rounds of the half for an 8-7 lead in favor of HSBG.

In the second half ENTiTY, now playing the Terrorists side, managed to win the pistol round and constructed a big lead, before HSBG decided to do something about it. ENTiTY had a 7-2 lead, but HSBG stepped it up and took six rounds straight, to win de_train 16-14 and forcing a second map.

On de_inferno HSBG started on the CT side, where they managed to win their second pistol round in the match. The Bulgarians took another three in a row, before ENTiTY succeeded to win a round by a push at the B bomb site. Following that round, ENTiTY brought the score to a tie at 4-4, which continued to a 7-7 score line. ENTiTY won the last round of the half, to secure themselves a one round lead before it was their turn to play the CT side.

ENTiTY extended their lead by winning the pistol round of the second half. Their economy was however shattered the next round, as HSBG had gone on the buy and managed to win. Surprisingly, ENTiTY managed to win the third round and put HSBG in a really bad position in terms of money. This started a series of round wins for the Macedonians, something HSBG could not cope with, and ended up losing 16-10, to see ENTiTY win Balkan Challenge Summer 2011

it was quite obvious that a foreign team would win this tournament but not many people thought of ENTiTY (and so do i). it is sad also to see only nevermore beating a foreign team and congratulations because they where the only team from inside Greece that could possibly compete. And that also was a suprise. The majority of greek teams/players showed how underachievers they are. They should start think differently. Lastly it wasnt a suprise for HSBG losing. Congratulations to all, neXtplease!

ppl make id dead ... u can organize small tournaments for ur country .... and make CS alive again .... if ppl play they will have motivation and they will make tournaments of their own

ENTiTY played with TeG two or three months ago And the winner was determined after 3 maps. So there is nothing "easy".

And we shouldn't forget that when ENTiTY had 14 rounds and TeG were on a desperate buy, marius got lucky and killed both neno and nightmare, and that was a round that sure would've gone ENTiTY's way, and they'd have prolly won the match

It was a really good tournament. Big thanks goes to all who were part of the tournament organisation for their help and especially their hospitality. Good game praises to all of our opponents: Greek teams Delinquent Habits, eNcoders and KARFO, Israeli team NOM-Gaming, Turkish team AdeksGC and Bulgarian team HeadshotBG. It was a fun and friendly trip and I hope we will visit the city of Trikala again in nearby future. Thanks for the fans and all the people who supported us!

Thaaaaaaaank youu all really guys..it means a lot for foreign teams to say that this was one of the best lan tournaments they have ever attended...I hope this was a big step for cs scene here in Greece (compared to what was before) and we hope more tournaments will happen in the future!
