Virtus.pro remove two

According to ProPlay.ru, Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov and Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov have been removed from the Counter-Strike squad.

The reasons for the removal of the players have been kept quiet but what has been found out was that there was a small internal quarrel. Novikov joined the team in March 2006, while Kochugov was part of the Virtus.Pro roster for several years. This decision turns the two gamers into free agents.

The news comes just in the middle of the team's preperations for the ESWC Finals which will be held next month in Paris, France. The team was in need of strengthening after having lost their qualifier to Begrip.ru in the Final.

The changes leave the Virtus.Pro roster with only 3 players, and if they want to have any chance at the ESWC Finals replacements will have to be made as soon as possible. The Russian squad has confirmed that it will attend the event with the team's coach, Konstantin "groove" Pikiner, while the last player is yet to be announced. However, it has been rumoured that hat Alexandre "KALbI4" Gribov is one of the team's options for the last spot and that he is already practicing with Virtus.Pro.

Virtus.Pro has now the following roster:

Alexey "LeX" Kolesnikov
Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko
Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov

Sad for Virtus.Pro, always liked their team. Also the inventors of the "Russian Jump" I bet. Hope they will find two top players for ESWC.

I just don't understand them. These 2 players were , on my mind , the best players in Virtus.Pro. I'm interesting what realy happened.

OMG guy's OMG ya ochen' rasstroen :( Odno raduet na schet KALbI4'a , no vsej eto yze ne te VP... da i na schet loser.pro - mojet oni v poslednee vremya ne berut nagradi , no komanda ona i est' komanda v kakom bi ona polozenii ne nahodilas' i es;i ti tak schiotaesh to ti prosto tut post nabil. F_1N'a uze ne zamenit' .. eto budut yze ne te VP chto bili... Da i Parnyam (osobenno LeX'y) shas ne legko... JA poslnostju s toboj soglasen hot ja tebja ne znaju no ti govorish pravdu.No esli u Virtus budet progress v dalnejshem ja budu o4en rad t.k vsegda Virtusa bili moim faforitom.Ja o4en vam so4ustvuju VP.
