First ESWC qualifiers announced

The organizing committee of ESWC revealed the first 12 national qualifiers for the Paris-based event.

Electronic Sports World Cup organizing committee has finally announced the first information about the qualifiers for its grand final, which will take place during Paris Game Week on October 21-25 and will hand out $220,000 in all competitions.

Only these 12 countries find their name on the list for now, but it is said that more will be announced very soon:

France	Poland
Portugal	Ukraine
Turkey	Argentina
India	Indonesia
Bolivia	Algeria
Morocco	Réunion

The French qualifier already took place earlier this month at Masters Français du Jeu Vidéo, where Virus Gaming and 3DMAX took the two ESWC spots. We also see Ukraine on the list, whose Natus Vincere were champions last year and have already received a direct invite to the event. Another interesting name on the list is Portugal, whose qualifier was in doubt a few months ago, but now it seems that everything is in order.

Detailed information about any of the qualifiers, such as date, venue and number of spots at the grand final is still unknown, but make sure to keep track of the information regarding your country of interest via the links above.

It is added that those whose countries end up without a qualifier will still have a chance to enter the competition by the end of August if they are registered on the ESWC's website.
