The fifth edition of the WiredOut LAN series has been announced to take place at the Kyoto Lounge in Manchester.

The event, which will run on a setup of 20 on-site computers, will feature a total of 16 teams, with approximately €1,825 being dedicated to its prize pool, gathered from sign-up fees.

Kyoto Lounge is what you would call a gaming bar, offering an "amazing range of cocktails and mojitos" as well as other beverages, and is known for hosting weekly gaming tournaments.

16 teams, which will be the the maximum allowed number of sides, have already expressed their interest, but the majority have yet to confirm their payments, which means anyone can beat them to the chase.

The organizers are requesting a €201 attendance fee, with participants required to pay €86 to Kyoto Lounge in advance. The rest will go to the prize pool and necessary hosting hardware.

WiredOut 5 prize distribution:

1. - €1,000
2. - €550
3. - €275

The fith edition of WiredOut will take place at Kyoto Lounge, 131 Grosvenor Street in Manchester, between September 10-11.

we got 400£ for dreamhack. thats it - rest was paid by a sidesponsor - even though it was said Dreamhack QUAL (all included). it ran up in 800£ total - (twice as much as we received from 4K). Besides that our pricemoney were halfed - and it was a DH qual so dont know what you mean? :)

well 4K are pretty much run to the ground now and don1 has run away so there's nothing you can do about the past, ESL is known for delaying payments for like a quadrillion years yet everyone still attends their events so just let it slide :) we are still angry too so but we will still attend just because, let's not get crazy crZy :D

ESL started to pay out prices - besides that - its mainly for sponsors the teams are attending im sure - to live up to their deals. its the event with most coverage of all time. If so you just have a real bad idea about how to handle such a situation. If you dont want the money your owed fine - thats just lame imo :). I will do what i can to make damage to WiredOut untill they paid for our pricemoney. :)

WiredOut is 1 person. You can slate them but this time I don't think they're trying to attract European teams, it's a thing for UK guys just to attend so like it's not going to affect any our views about going or not. It's not like I don't want my money, but in reality we're never going to get it, I had fun I have gotten over it, you're owned like £100 each, as are we, £100 is fuck all, if it was £2500 I would be raging.

Your money was stolen from don1. Gamerbase took extra because of the opening times. Nothing really be said about it without finding the guy and bringing him to court. Every1 in UK trusted don1 the guy did alot for the scene. He got EPS UK, helped at many LANS. No1 expected it.
