Predictions for ESWC

HLTV.orgs own expert have analyzed the participating teams and picked out the 10 teams most likely to win.

ESWC is the biggest esport event of the year and all the top teams from around the world will be competing for the title. With so many top teams it is hard to predict the outcome, but we try anyway!
10. Russia Virtus.Pro - They have had some roster changes lately and they need to get their game together before they can place better than this.

9.
Denmark NoA - The Danish team hasn`t impressed anyone lately and I doubt they will at this tournament either. They`re going to end up here.

8.
China TR.victory - I don't know much about the chinese scene and i know that these guys are beasty but when it comes down to the match where you either win and go to the top or you lose and go home, aim is not the thing that matters. That's where these guys fail, in such tournaments you don't have people with bad aim, you have people who are either ready or not.

7.
Germany alternate aTTax - These guys has got a great lineup as well and if they get their teamwork together they can do really well here, but not better than 7th.

6.
Germany Mousesports - Mouz hasn`t impressed at WSVG Louisville, but they do get a couple of weeks to practice their mistakes at Louisville before the ESWC in Paris, and they do have a strong lineup that can bring this home tournament home, but I am guessing 6th place for these guys.

5.
Norway Meet Your Makers - Considering the fact that they just took in Naikon, I do not think they have enough practice behind them to take a better place than 6th, but I believe they have a chance to come above this seed.

4.
Finland 69N28E - These guys have played really well lately, and as we speak they are doing great at the WSVG Louisville and I do think they`ll take home the trophy from Louisville, but I do not think that they're strong enough to win in Paris.

3.
Sweden fnatic - Fnatic hasn't really impressed that much lately, but if I do believe they will come back strong and take a third place at this years ESWC.

2.
Poland Pentagram - Pentagram has got a strong lineup and has a good chance of winning this year, but I think they will loose the grand finale vs. MIBR

1.
Brazil MIBR - MIBR has been boot camping a lot in São Paulo and recently they were at Inferno online in Stockholm boot camping. They are at the WCG Pan American Championship as we speak, which will give them some more practice before the event. I think they have practiced hard and have a real strong team that will do well enough to place 1st again.
Lets get ready to rumble!

1.PGS - probably the most solid team ever. Haven't seen much of them lately so i am starting to doubt if they still have the strength they once had. One of their advantages is that you can't really anti-strat them when they attend so few events. 2.MIBR - ESWC is where these guys really shine at. Can't anti-star aswell. 3.aTTaX - A very very dedicated team. They work really hard and it shows as aTTaX is placing higher and higher in every event. Not as good as they were in 2006 tho. 4.Fnatic - Even if they did win the sweden qualifier i doubt that they will reach the top3. F0rest hasn't been performing very well lately too. 5.69N28E - really strong at lan. Their win at Louisville showed what they are capable of. now it starts to get difficult. Every team below the top5 can either be good or bad. It depends on the day. 6.Begrip.se - i think this team really has the potential. Very good team work and if guys like get_right will have their day they will surely make many upsets. 7.MYM - haven't heard much about them lately. Naikon doesn't really seem like a good addition in my opinion. I think he's the same as Heaton in NiP atm, a good player but his style differs from his team mates and that's what keeps MYM here. 8.Mousesports - I still hope mouz will finally show what they can do. After all they have 3 players from my fav team ever(attax 2006) so i do hope they will place higher but the form that they are showing right now is pretty much average. 9.wNv.cn - don't know much about the chinese scene and i know that these guys are beasty but when it comes down to a match where you either win and go to the top or you lose and go home aim is not the thing that matters. That's where these guys fail, in such tournaments you don't have people with bad aim, you have people who are either ready or not. 10.Noa - well people say that noa isn't in a good form right now. I think it's a lack of preparation. I have seen a few matches of Noa and in all of them Noa seemed unsure of their decisions and lacked teamwork. begrip.ru might also make some upsets if they will play their game.

mibr has really done a good job at boot camps in são paulo, if their performance at WCG pan is nice, I think they're gonna bring de golden trophy to brazil, if they're not, I belive top 3. surely fnatic and pentagram are very strong and probably one of the three teams I've spoken will take the first place.

Strong predictions, ESWC this year is more than well represented - who could wish for better teams?? - I still cheer at Pentagram as the winner of ESWC 2007 though :-) Pentagram is still more charismatic than MIBR, and I believe they have got what it takes to win the matches against the Brazilian team, Pentagram showed enough for me this year to still make me believe they have the style and team to win this time

If this is a serious question: There wasn´t an ESWc qualifier in Finland but the organisators of ESWC invited 69N-28E cause they´ve won NGL-one and, in their opinion, are a better team than Logitech If this was a rethoric question: blame the ESWC orgas for it!
