semXorah might replace playArt
Brazil might have another team representing the country at the IEM6 Global Challenge New York, as playArt will not be able to attend due to passport issues.
The Brazilian qualifier concluded last weekend with playArt winning 2-0 against semXorah in the qualifier final. Despite claiming the right to go to New York, playArt will not be able to, as one of the members would not have his passport in time to secure a visa.
With second place in the qualifier semXorah served the right to replace playArt, but it is still not certain if the team will attend. The team need to secure visa to enter the United States, in which IEM sponsor Intel has given a hand, as they have issued paperwork, which acts as an official invitation for the tournament.
According to the information given to HLTV.org, all the team need is the visa, everything else should be settled. Should semXorah secure visa to enter the United States, then we will see following lineup in New York:
Felippe "felippe1' Martins
Gustavo "MKR" Mekaru
Felipe "brtt" Gonçalves
Frederico "atx" Marques
Willian "LuL4!" Elias
IEM6 Global Challenge New York will take place October 13-16 at the Comic Con exhibition. $40,000 will be handed out in the Counter-Strike tournament and HLTV.org will be on site to cover every bit of the tournament.
