Mandic player vote decided

Mandic's player vote has finished. The eight players with the most votes will now have to sit tight and wait for a team to be created.

Last week's news about Brazil finally getting a major sponsorship in house is closing the final stages. A player vote would determine which eight players would have a shot at getting chosen for this $29,000 budget project.

The vote ended Monday at noon Brazilian time. Mandic has now published the results of the vote done via Facebook. The top eight voted players are:

1. Lincoln "fnx" Lau - 1,198 votes
2. Renato "nak" Nakano - 1,087 votes
3. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo - 1,085 votes
4. Bruno "bit" Fukuda - 920 votes
5. Thiago "btt" Monteiro - 877 votes
6. Arthur "prd" Resende - 592 votes
7. Bruno "bruno" Ono - 578 votes
8. Guilherme "spacca" Spacca - 533 votes

Just outside the magic eight are players such as Olavo "cky" Napoleão, Matheus "UrUbUziNhO" Oliveira, Gustavo "mkr" Mekaru and others.

It is now in the hands of Alexandre "gAuLeS" Chiqueta and Paulo Velloso to pick which of the eight players will be a part of the new Brazilian project.

IGLs: Nak, bit and prd if necessary. Main awpers: FalleN and spacca. Outside these main 8, there are other players as good as 'em, such as shemp, mkr and cky. We have great players here, our problem's structure and sponsorship...

The fact that gAuLeS is one of the people in charge of picking the players makes me think that this project can really work if THE PLAYERS actually put in the effort. Shame cky and UrUbUziNhO get left out though. And of course I wish my favorite brazilian of all time, TON, was still playing but can always get what you want ^_^ I do wish there was some "NEWER" names on the list of 8 though ... like shemp, mkr, lrz, or bt0 Anyway ... in my opnion the best team of these 8 players are like #108 and #121 said: prd fnx Fallen bruno(but if chucky was voted too i prefer him, the captain of the best team in brazil) nak Currently bit is not playing very well... if you watch the games he played at col.br you would say that he's not better than bruno and nak. thats why i prefer bruno nak or btt. spacca played well last championship but the others he didn't played well

I would like to see the following lineup: fnx, nak, FalleN, btt, spacca Didn't choose prd, because I don't think there are space for two awpers in the team. Besides prd having a very good skill with rifles too. About the relationship problems between the players.. if gAuLeS can make them play together for the single objective informed on the interviews until now (Brazil on the top spots at International events), they can reach good results.
