Two quarter-finals preponed

Two of the four quarter-finals at Samsung Euro Championship 2011 have been preponed and will be played today after Group D has finished.

A SEC admin has informed HLTV.org that two of the four quarter-finals will be played today and not tomorrow as announced in the schedule. The reason for this is supposedly an error in the schedule.

This means that two quarter-finals will be played today, shortly after Group D has finished. The quarter-finals that will be played are the winner of Group C versus second place in Group D, as well as winner of Group D and second place in Group C.

There is currently no estimation on what time the matches will begin, it all depends on how delayed the tournament will end up being at the time Group D concludes. Be sure to stay tuned to HLTV.org, as we will update you once we have learned the matchups, as well as the estimated starting time.

fx went into two overtimes against fear factory on thursday, and lost to winfakt. Im pretty sure they will win against m5, but I think l$h is trying to make the point that m5 has good odds to take one map at least :P

AGAiN has to qualify first, TeG has always played surprisingly well internationally and are capable of upsetting AGAiN in this shape. On the other hand, M5 can easily decide to place 2nd and save some strats in their 2nd match so they can face 1st of group C with saved tactics.

Frag eXecutors lose team Written by benDover! | 03 October 2011 Posted in News - Counter-Strike T he golden five have revealed yesterday by changing their ESL team account's name to AGAiN, that they are no longer under the Frag eXecutors tag after a 18 months stint. Rumours has it that the orga behind the Frag eXecutors had financial problems, problems that lead the team to lose some important tournaments such as DreamHack and Gamegune. These problems seems to be the main reason why Filip 'NEO' Kubski and his team-mates left the orga. No one knows who is going to be the next organization to pick them up, one thing is certain they will have to play under the AGAiN tag one again, and maybe this will bring them luck as in 2009 under this tag they managed to win WCG 2009. source: greatfrag.com

Hopefully AGAiN will wake up! Maybe they thougt, that they will play against SK if they win the group. Because Group C vs Group D ist stupid, so AGAiN will meet for example Winfakt in Semi Final. Normally in tournaments, the teams which were together in their group, have the chance to meet them just in final again. At the end WinFakt won the match and that was deserved!
