After a 3 hour delay at IEM6 Global Challenge New York, the first round of matches in Group A took place, with mTw drawing versus UMX.us and EG taking an easy 16-2 win over Black & Yellow.

Aside from our very own Marc "Nix0n" Winther standing-in for mTw, the start of IEM6 GC New York was marked by a 3 hour delay due to internet problems.

The first test for the Danes of mTw didn't go as great as it seemed at the start, as they drew 15-15 against UMX.us. A dreamy beginning for Winther in his pro debut when he won a 1vs2 situation in the pistol round and later a 13-2 lead for mTw, turned into much trouble on the T-side for the Danes, when UMX.us made a great comeback to draw the match.

The schedule was slightly changed due to the delay, so now the next round's matches will be played at the same time. You can expect them to start soon, right after a minor break for the teams.

In the next round mTw will meet an even tougher test versus Evil Geniuses, while UMX will be looking for an easy win against Black & Yellow.

great game, Nix did not make a fool of himself, too bad they did not manage to win this...let's just hope they'll manage to end 2nd of the group and bring karrigan/Friis for the bracket :-)
