Moscow Five owner Dmitryi "ddd1ms" Smelyi has stated that he has a desire to kick one of the members in the Counter-Strike division, following a poor performance in the play-off match against Natus Vincere.

The Russian representatives crashed out of the ESWC 2011 tournament with a loss against Natus Vincere in the quarter-final. The Moscow Five owner Dmitryi "ddd1ms" Smelyi then went on to upload a photo to on the Russian social networking website vkontakte, with him holding a rifle, looking through the scope, with the text: "I can't say who's in the sight".

CyberFight.ru went on to contact Smelyi for a comment on the matter, in which he explained he wants to kick one of the members in the team, due to a poor performance in the match against Na´Vi. He did however, not wish to disclose which player is in the sight to be removed.

According to Russian community rumours, three players have been singled out as candidates to be removed. The three players are Eduard "ed1k" Ivanov, Alexandr "xek" Zobkov and Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov.

What you're saying is really true but I guess a lot of people don't understand this concept (maybe because they live in thos sorts of cities ?). In most countries, the main city and capital has evolved so much that it developped a proper identity that is very different from the rest of the country, for example Tokyo is absolutely nothing like Japan, Paris is everything but France, Moscow doesn't feel Russian etc...

Hah, i have loads of friends who are Russian (who are not from Moscow) and I've travelled in St Petersburg and Moscow and in between a lot. The capitol might not show everything Russia is about, but the people do and it does point a direction of what Russia is about. I never said anything bad about Russia. Being MESSED UP doesnt mean bad! Theres just a lot of things which work differently elsewhere, which make some things seem as insane/messed up for others. Same goes for any BIG country, and of course there are some rotten apples in the big pile. I love my russian friends and people have always been EXTREMELY nice in Russia towards me even if i didnt understand the language. Just the opinion of a foreigner, of course a russian doesnt want to agree.

actually, I doubt he is serious about that. you're right if they wouldn't have lost momentum then they would have won the 2nd map and 2-0 overall (16-9 in first map). it is just disappointment of always facing the best teams in such an early stage (SK in group stage and FX in the 1st round of playoffs, both teams ended up in the grand final, same thing happened at SEC 2 weeks ago)

i wouldn't call their performance "poor". they were the only team besides anexis to get a map on navi (or even comepte with them really) before they lost 2-0 vs sk in the finals. I didnt watch those matches, but 9-16 ,16-12, 9-16 isnt too bad vs the 2nd best team in the world atm. I think they should give them another shot in the next tournament before replacing someone (probably fox or xek) with presumably hacker :)) or MNR. M5 is a really good team but you will see them dropping dumb rounds and missing close situations sometimes (especially on T). Hopefully with some time their chemistry will increase..GL m5 :))

how sad for m5 orga. they do everything for their players, but still cs male players and sometimes dota players are totally suck. Seriously Dmitriy gave them ALL what they need to be #top3 world team. If they can't - fucking kick them out of team. kick this fucking drunkers and take polish squad what the problem. to ddd1ms, if he`s ever gonna read it. during the last 6 contests i witnessed a team developing like no other. check results from asus winter 2011, IEM5 World Championship, Xperia Play 2011, ICSC 2008, fnatic play 2001... and so on. Don`t want to be boring, my point is the results are ALWAYS going up. from the early stages to our last event, ESWC 2011, u`ll see the team has earned alot of experience, like the results show. We had epic matches like> mTw (15)- Moscow Five (19) in DreamHack Summer Moscow Five (15) - WinFakt (15) in ICSC 8 SK Gaming (14) - Moscow Five (16)ICSC 8 Moscow Five (16) - mousesports (8) IEM6 GC New York fnatic (26) - Moscow Five (24) ESWC 2011 online qualifier My point: this team HAS and HAS SHOWN potential. Down ruin it cuz of a stupid change of match time, a teenage hangover, or cuz of the fanboys trolling here, wishing for Superman in M5. A simple change can mess up the chemestry in the team, and anyone here on this forum can tell u how important that is for a clan. Despite his great 1v3 with low hp, ROMJkE was the worst. Kicking ed1k would be a nonsense as he played superb on tuscan and he's just a beast. I don't like xek but he is better than ROMJKE anyway. I'd also like if hacker or mooner join in.

yeah and he wanted to go out of team as well after that incident, cuz he felt like he really let the team down. But, they didn't kick him, but just didn't give him his salary or just decreased it. I don't know what is going to happen now, guess we will have to wait and see.
