AGAiN replace Evil Geniuses at DH

AGAiN has been invited as a replacement for Evil Geniuses, in the MSI BEAT IT 2011 tournament, taking place at DreamHack Winter 2011 next week.

Yesterday, it was announced that the winners of the North American qualifier, team Evil Geniuses, would not be attending the 2011 finals at DreamHack Winter.

As a replacement, it has been announced that AGAiN from Poland was invited to fill the empty spot. Natus Vincere had the chance to obtain the invite, but declined the invitation.

The Polish team had originally planned to play the BYOC qualifier on site at DreamHack Winter, which would have happened from QPAD's booth in the exhibition area. Instead, the Polish team has been invited to the main tournament, and will not have to try their luck in the BYOC qualifier.

With AGAiN in, following 14 teams are now on the participants list:

The remaining two spots for the tournament will be distributed via the BYOC qualifier on site at DreamHack Winter, taking place November 24. Stay tuned as the groups and tournament schedule will also be released today.

Totaly agree! Even tough we know that Sk or AGAiN will take the 1st place. But the 3rd place is gonna be between, fnatic, Lions, Mouz, M5, ESC, ES and Anexis :D fnatic has had theire ups and down, they've been challenging top teams and Beaten Mouz often who has been rly amazing so far, and this is fnatics last tourney this year, so I guess they've been pracctising very hard for this! Mouz has got better and better for every toruney this year, they've changed theire play style everytime and it has worked out pretty good for them. As mentioned before, since this is the last trouney for fnatic, this is also the last for Mouz ( as far as I know)! ES is a very exciting team, it's basicly the french dreamteam, so lets see what the france cs scene has to give. Lions, has been a very soild team so far, they've been attending to many tourneys this year and got some good results as well. M5 will imo play it aggresive as they always do, and I love watch them putting out numbers vs top teams such as when they smashed SK. Imo the only team who plays aggresive now on days, and they always do well. Anexis might not have the best players in the world, but they've managed to got some very good results against top teams such as LIONS and WF, it will be very exciting now since they got Trace who is top 5 players in the world imo.To last we have ESC who has good players even tought they've also changed theire line-up recently back to the 1 who did best. And i guess we can all agree on that this will be an awesome tourney, and my English skills ain't the best =)

for me it feels like fnatic will place 5-8th , no offense to you as a fan or to those players, just my opinion! Something is not working in that team as it should, but anything can happen & as i said this is just my opinion! gl to fnatic u will need it!

I guess your opinion is based on the last touney they attended to where they failed across the table. But that was just one of thoses days u know XD If Friis hits his shot, as he usual do (but he hasn't been to sharp in fnatic yet) and GUX and Xizt will be madfraggers I'd belive fnatic can beat almost everyteam, maybe all teams :)

If we look at the group fnatic has @ DH its pretty nice for them, but in the same time it can be like it was in France, i mean m5 is a really solid team and can do big damage to any of those top teams, so if they loose to m5 which in my opinion 80% of the time WILL happen there will be an interesting fight for groups second spot between fnatic and ArcadioN & co! Even tho i think fnatic MUST win them - anything can happen! will see, will see..

That's what I basicly tybed, fnatic will be very good this tourney, but I doubt it they can beat SK. AGAiN has on the other hand been not that sharp the last matches, so maybe fnatic can put out good numbers against them :)

U just hacked into my mind and stole all the data in there...but anyways since I'm already late and can't say anything else that I totally agree with that cs is a game where skill and thinking plays a major role on each round so decisions are decisions they can always differ from what the stats and odds say, therefore no counter-strike game can be predicted with a certain winner just because u thought so...no it's way more complicated than that so at the end of the day you'll have a 50% - 50% of getting it right or being wrong

You mean arbalet? He stopped quite a few months ago. Either ways, I doubt that would be the reason. Ukraine isn't so far from sweden that flight tickets would contribute to the decision.

Show me where is something about that Na`Vi won't play in BYOC. There is only info about Na`Vi's decline which doesn't mean they won't participate in BYOC. btw. Look at RAGE2k's post. He would like to replace Eq by Na`Vi so I wanted to say that it isn't necesarry because they still have a chance to qualify by a BYOC tournament.
