ASUS Cup 2011 groups announced

The groups have been published for possibly the last LAN event of the year, ASUS Cup 2011 which will take place on Dec 17-18 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Due to the event clashing with IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev final qualifier, Natus Vincere has decided to turn down their invite. KerchNET and Moscow Five will play the final pre-qualifier match tonight, so it's possibly either one will also be forced to miss this event.

ASUS Cup has moved to CyberZone which is a recently opened LAN Center in the Ukrainian capital, for the event titled "Final battle of the year". Groups have been announced and are listed below:

One last spot for group C will be handed out at a local qualifier to be held in CyberZone on Dec 16. It is highly likely that another spot will also open up due to Moscow Five or KerchNET dropping out.

In addition, the event will be a Russian qualifier for the previously announced Kingston Trilogy Tour. Following prizes are for the top three placing Russian teams, meaning teams from other countries will not be eligible.

Additional prizes for Russian teams:

1. 5x Kingston 120GB HyperX SSD + spot and all expenses covered at Kingston Trilogy Tour (Istanbul, Turkey, 3-5 February 2012)
2. 5x Kingston 4GB 2133MHz HyperX Grey
3. 5x Kingston 4GB 1600MHz HyperX Blue

Action will begin at 09:30 on Saturday for the first two groups with quarter finals will also be played on the same day. Semi finals, third place decider and the grand final will be played on Sunday.

Actually, something wrong.. Kingston T. Tour is not about ASUS Cup. Two different tournament. We changed our Russian elemination dates because of this tournament. Teams who will be top3, not take any Kingston prize. They are different tournament. After ASUS Cup, We have Russian qualifier on weekdays.
