axoN returns to k1ck

Hélder "coachi" Sancho has informed HLTV.org that k1ck have welcomed Joaquim "axoN" Pinto back on the team.

The move comes shortly after a poor DreamHack Winter appearance. In Sweden, the Portuguese team failed to go beyond the group stage, landing the last spot in their group.

Pinto was shown the door just days before the DreamHack South Europe qualifier, with the organization citing 'attitude' to be the problem that led to his removal.

The team attended, and won, the qualifier with Gonçalo "spekz" Monteiro as a substitute. Although Pinto has now returned, Monteiro is still on the roster, making it a six-man squad.

axoN makes k1ck return

When questioned about Pinto's return, Sancho said the following:

"After a very hard year for our team, with a lot of different kind of problems, we finally have good news: we have our star kid back on track. With axoN in good shape, we hope to achieve great results in 2012, and forget the unlucky 2011."

k1ck now have:

Ricardo "fox" Pacheco
Gonçalo "spekz" Monteiro
Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes
Joaquim "axoN" Pinto

However, Sancho added that Rui "SHOUW" Reis will step into a less active role in the team, noting that he will not participate in upcoming events.

because portuguese and spanish have been getting worse and worse past year. Spain -> musamban1 retired, xhiroz went inactie portugal -> k1ck made a lot of mistakes in the likes of changing players for stupid reasons. I felt like nothing good was coming from Iberia
