DreamHack Open dates announced

DreamHack has announced the dates for its 2012 tour which expands to a total of five events with the finals event being DreamHack Winter.

As usual, the main events are DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Winter, but they have also included a total of three other events in their Open series. They also claim that the events will feature a new and more improved eSports format for both professionals and amateurs.

More Counter-Strike to come at DreamHack in 2012?

The games list for all of the events is not available yet but will be announced at a later date. Counter-Strike has been the most popular game at the past DreamHack events, so the chances of it being featured in at least the Summer and Winter events are high.

DreamHack Open 2012 Stops:

21-22 April - DreamHack Open: Stockholm
16-19 June - DreamHack Open: Summer
21-23 September - DreamHack Open: Valencia
27-28 October - DreamHack Open: Bucharest

DreamHack Open 2012 Grand Finals:

22-25 November - DreamHack Open: Winter
