EPT4 on the horizon

Portugal's elite will gather in Santa Maria da Feira between April 27-29 to attend the fourth installment of EPT.

The organizers behind the EPT tournaments have now announced the final's venue and dates after holding a total of 10 qualifiers, which has advanced 29 sides.

The last tournament the organizers staged was the EPT Summer Cup, which qualified k1ck and Defining Stars to DreamHack South Europe, an international event k1ck proceeded to win.

First-placed teams will take home €1,500, hardware and €300 in "offers", according to the organizers. Moreover, the teams who manage to place within the top 16 will also receive prizes.

Currently known prize distribution:

1st Place: 1500€ + Hardware + 300€ in Offers

2nd Place: 800€ + Hardware + 200€ in Offers

3rd Place: 300€ + Hardware + 200€ in Offers

4th Place: Hardware + 200€ in Offers

1. - €1500, Hardware, 300€ in offers
2. - €800, Hardware, 200€ in offers
3. - €300, Hardware, 200€ in offers
4. - Hardware, €200 in offers

The upcoming tournament looks to be very competitive as many of the nation's top dogs will be in contention, among them k1ck, Phantoms, madjick and exotic Island.

hmm ok maybe, I went to a website to see the low cost flights and actually they are quite more expensive now than the last time I checked.

In Ryanair tickets to London was like 10€(?), so I guess it wouldn't cost much, but I don't really know how much it would cost to come from other countries to Portugal, even in a low-cost company.
