Bracket for CS:GO challenge drawn

The bracket has been drawn for the upcoming Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge at Copenhagen Games next week in the Danish capital.

Not much will take place in general on the opening day of Copenhagen Games 2012 , but the organizers spiced it up with the 1,000€ Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge.

The two remaining teams for this small get-together have now been found, with XplayN.com selecting Xapso and Anexis as the Danish representatives.

With the list of teams complete the organizers have drawn the bracket, seeing following matchups in round one:

Poland ESC Gaming vs. Denmark Blight Gaming
Denmark Anexis vs. Brazil Team TargetDown
Sweden SK Gaming vs. Denmark Copenhagen Wolves
Denmark Xapso vs. United Kingdom mousesports

The Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge will begin at 19:00 on Wednesday, April 4. Semi-finals have been scheduled for 20:15 and 21:30 , while the final is scheduled for 23:00 .

Are you still without a beta key for CS:GO? Fear not, we have 10 keys on the line in a small guessing contests. Who do you think will win the Sound Blaster CS:GO Challenge? Post your prediction in a comment below.

Should more than 10 people guess the winner, then we will randomly draw out the winners. Should less than 10 people guess the winner, then we will randomly select winners for the remaining keys. Competition will close at 19:00 on Wednesday next week.

TBH as a beta tester for CSGO, it's more like 1.6 than it is like source. That being said it's more like neither than it is like either. If 1.6 doesn't roll only 1 of 2 things have occured 1) since the CGS CSS players started actually using their brains when they play(Which i doubt) or 2) SK and ESC decided not to really play(which i doubt because they're both total competitors).

or 3) The skill difference between 1.6 and Source is a lot less than you seem to think. We shall see what happens anyway, it should be good fun, and 1,000 Euros is still a good prize to play for.

you really think that the source top teams have better tactics/experience than the 1.6 guys ? nevertheless i think that those games won't show the real skill of the 1.6 teams nor css just because the maps are different the gameplay etc. The players will probably be just running and hoping/trying to land a HS xD

You literally have not played the game. or CSP. The game is next to nothing like source except the maps are kinda similar to source...and even then they took ques from 1.6. I'm hoping they continue to make the game more like 1.6,as they have been in the last like 6 months.

What are you trying to say? So what that there will be less cs tournaments in upcoming few years? No one is forcing you to play cs:go. You are not a pro gamer who earns money from cs. You just play the game because you like it, not because valve is forcing you to do so
