A team built around Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Lincoln "fnx" Lau will be attending DreamHack Summer 2012's BYOC qualifier under the flag of Brasil Gaming.

Due to DreamHack only featuring an eight team tournament this summer and all the invites been handed out, Toledo & co will be forced to attend the local qualifier held at DreamHack's bring your own computer -section.

Can Brazil.AMD repeat this mibr team's success at DreamHack?

The team features three former DreamHack champions as Bruno "bit" Lima, Lincoln "fnx" Lau and Thiago "btt" Monteiro were all part of the mibr team that won the Winter 2007 event over SK Gaming in the grand final.

According to teamplay.com.br, the team will fly to Sweden on Tuesday and bootcamp for nine days at Inferno Online's Stockholm facility in order to get ready for the tournament that will take place on June 16-19 in Jönköping.

Yes, so far more dominant that one of your biggest organization had to come over our country to find a team. Accept it, usa cs died with coL moving to CSS, the only time they actually managed to come and win anything was because lurppis was leading you.

That's true. Bigger prizes and since it's 1v1 that one player takes it all to the bank. Which is huuuuge money sometimes for just one guy. Plus they make a ton of streaming revenue. :(

I just can't believe how stupid you are -.-' I am a 19 year old, studying at university and I get nearly the same salary as he gets...I just work ~40 per month, not per week! Ofc he add his winnings to that pool, but also add my internships! Oh and once again I'm just a college student! I'm likely to get 5 times as much college exit salary! EDIT: do the math 750*12 = 9000E on average a player like f0rest would earn 100k team winnings...20k individual winnings! + some other bonus stuff, equipment, commercials etc add +10k (highly unlikely) that sums up to 39k per year! Numbers close to the average salary in Germany!

At a recent tournament (I'm not 100% which was one), heaton was talking with get_right and get_right said that he earns sth like 700/750 I'm not 100% sure (at least that's what swedish people translated)

okay, they get 750 per month, but they are not getting 40k per year lol. Its almost impossible they get 100% of the winnings because they have contracts(?) meaning they only get few % of that. And you 100% will get more when you have a real job, but for many gamers playing and getting any money for it is just easy and fun for them..

Fact: Those money are not enough! but that does not mean that they don't have any other type of income and that does not imply that they don't have decent lives! I never tried to be a pro...I haven't played CS intensively for more than 2 years and I'm 19! I just like watching the game, because it's really exciting, fast and requires maximum concentration and accuracy! Yes being a CS pro is not a normal job, since you can't do it forever, it has no future! I've traveled around the world attending different competitions in the USA, Netherlands, Turkey, Turkmenistan, France, England etc I had paid accommodation too! At most of those competitions I didn't get any money prize, but wth I was a high-school student! I never said that traveling around the world is a bad thing...it's a great thing (AS I SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF MY POST, YOU'RE JUST ASSUMING STUFF THAT I DIDN'T SAY) True that I don't have a prove of their CS income, I've never seen their paycheck, though "we" all know how much the prizes at each event are! if u think just about skill, for sure no. but the line up is decided on some aspects like teamplay, experience, friendship... so this line up was a good choice, they all deserve to be there, aswell some other active players deserve to like: kng, fv, mch, prd, mkr and others.

I think most of the people like FalleN and his co. They are really really skilled players and it is a pleasure to see them playing. Especially FalleN! Anybody can tell me anything I am sure Fallen is in the top 5 players in the world right now. There is just only one thing I can't get my head around.. They should really go under the name mibr!!! If you're talking about mibr yes, But, FG, coL.br, mandic, and semXorah never had such time to train on Inferno Online like mibr did, tbh only coL.br did it once, and they managed to beat TyLoo and Moscow5 in that tournament, at least.

Of course, however that mentioned teams can beat any team, they are playing really strong. They are playing all tournaments and practicing with the top teams every day. How would someone expect that a Brazilian line up, that dont play in europe for months, would beat strong teams like that? SBG is a new project, they are trying to bring Brazil back to the top. OH MY GOD! I can't believe how many clueless people are posting here. If you say you prefer nak or bruno over shemp you clearly didn't watch they playing for over a year! IT'S 2012 NOT 2006, WAKE UP GUYS!! nak have been doing bad lately, shemp by the other side is our rising star, for sure you will se him in every lineup that include FalleN and fnx, since they're our 3 best players. The same goes for mch and kNg, they're on a very close level, in fact these five could make our best possible lineup, skillwise saying. I beg to you, non brazilians: watch at least two or three matches of this team, and pay attention on shemp, you'll change your mind about him.

they are playing together for 2 months i guess, not ever day, 'cause fln study at night (in brazil, is the better hour to train), but they won a bootcamp some weeks ago, without training, so, i rly think that they can cause a big damage in DH, anw, gl shemp, he is a amazing player, have a gr8 future with this line up ;)
