69N-28E Interviewed

With GameGune starting this coming Friday we here have got some pre-tournament interviews for you to read. This time its natu from 69N-28E.

Can you please introduce yourself to the readers?
Hello my name is Joona Leppänen aka natu, I'm 22 years old and I play for 69N-28E.

Can you please tell the readers your role in the team, and everybody elses?
The team consists of lurppis who's our ingame leader, nasu, conte and ruuit who are more or less the 3 mainfraggers in the team and go on crazy rampages and do all the random stuff in the team. My role is more or less to play more defensive and avoid getting any ecofrags whatsoever.

How does the team feel about the ESWC performance?
We were obviously disapointed because it doesn't matter wether you come 128th or 4th - you don't gain a thing from it :). So we're looking to regroup at Gamegune and get our revenge, the way we lost to fnatic was not the way we wanted to end that event.

How has 69N-28E prepared for GameGune?
Well we've only been practicing for some days after ESWC on the internet, we've looked into some of the issues we had at ESWC and have been looking to change those things. We'll see how it all pans out.

Which team do you think will do well at GameGune? Not including 69N-28E.
The obvious teams such as fnatic and PGS I guess. Maybe we'll see some surprises aswell, it's possible in CS.

You have been placed in a group with, Begrip.se, forZe, OverGame and csm.Qpad, how do you think you will do against these teams to pass the group stage?
Well let me put it this way: If we don't advance from the group we're definitely not playing the right game at all. I think we should be able to win the group if we play up to our abilities.

What is the teams plans for after GameGune?
We've got the Finnish WCG qualifier sometime soon, I think early august. After that I don't know what's next. Maybe we'll have a small break after such a hectic summer.

Could you give us the explanation of your team's name to our public, we can imagine a lot of them have a hard time pronouncing your name and understanding what it means?
69N-28E are the cordinates to a lake in north of Finland called "Inarijärvi". I know, such a worldfamous lake and all. Nothing else to it. It's pretty selfexplenatory - c o r d i n a t e s.

Can you please tell us where you got the name natu from?
The name has no meaning to it to be honest, it used to be natural and then for some reason it was cool that a nickname with 4 letters back in the QuakeWorld days in like 98 so natural got cut short into natu.

As many of our readers might have noticed, you have been talking about a secret that is to be revealed soon, can you give any hints to what it could be?
I wouldn't want to ruin a surprise, that would be harsh.. you've just got to wait and see.
