SK-Gaming Interviewed
Hello fisker can you introduce yourself to the readers?
Hello there, my name is Christer Eriksson, i go by the nickname fisker and play for SK-Gaming. Been playing this game for about 5-6 years professionally now, most of the time in SK!
Can you breifly introduce your team and their role in the team? Who calls tactics etc.
Allen - A very talented player, getting better and better even though he whines about how much he sucks :P. Often able to lay down a couple of frags per round, he does what you tell him and he's a great guy IRL.
RobbaN - A great allround player, really good with AWP, stable like no other and a great teamplayer. IRL he's this really soft guy who likes jokes, but is serious when it's needed.
Striker - The newcomer in SK, extremely skilled, always good to have him in those 1onX situations, haven't seen him play bad since he started playing with us. IRL he is just wierd but fun! :D
SpawN - Doesnt really need a comment, can do anything ingame, 1on5 is never impossible for this guy, isnt much of a teamplayer but can bring that out too if needed.
Myself - Calling the strats atm, we'll see how it goes on GameGune, i've never seen myself as a good aimer, i think im better in taking good angles and trying to trick the enemy. Talking loud is one good thing i can say about myself thoughHow do you think striker has settled down in the team?
Since joining the team , i think he has settled pretty good, i think he is enjoying his time with us(hopefully!), i like his personality and how he is even though he comes late sometimes(!).
Since SK did not attend what is probably the biggest esport event of the year(ESWC). What is your goal at GameGune? Top 3 finish i guess?
We all want to win it of course, we would however be satisfied with top3 since there are so many good teams out there nowadays.
How has the team prepared for GameGune?
A couple of days online practicing and a 4-days bootcamp, mostly focusing on nuke & train which we see as our weaker maps.
In 2003 SK pretty much dominated, do you think you could do that again within the next year?I dont think any team can dominate the CS-scene in the way we did back then, the competition nowadays is so much higher. People play so much more and today it's more about having a good day, kinda like regular sports. Which team do you think will be one of your toughest matches if you had to face them at GameGune? Pentagram, fnatic and 69N are the teams that i see play more stable then us at the moment. I know we can beat them if we just give it our all and have a bit of luck with us. You are in Group E, with yourname, TBH.Esports, Highlights! and defs, Do you think you can progess onto the next stage? from Looking at the group SK should win it. And, do you think theres a team in that group which might make a surprise. Yes, in my eyes we should proceed to the next stage without any bigger problems, yourname however, are pretty good so they can bring us down if we dont focus and play our game. That is the team i would say are the biggest opponents in our group. What is SK plans for after GameGune? We have the Swedish WCG qualifier coming up, after that it's NGL if we win our last game against x6 which we should, then we have eurocup finals. Thats pretty much whats planned so far. Thanks alot for your time fisker, any last shoutout or comments?
No problem at all, would like to give a big hug to my teammates and also a shoutout to our sponsors and the SK-crew. Don't wanna forget our fans and insiders that helps and supports us alot and also Inferno-Online for making it possible to practise under such good conditions!
Thanks again fisker for your time, we here at HLTV.org would like to wish SK the best of luck at GameGune.
