ESC Gaming win fourth EPS title

The fourth season of the Polish ESL Pro Series concluded Saturday evening in the city of Zabrze. ESC Gaming claimed their fourth title in a row, once again without much resistance.

Top four ranked teams from the online group stage made it through to the season LAN finals, a one-day event in Zabrze, with the returning question from the past three seasons. Can any of the teams dethrone ESC Gaming?

The answer was no. ESC beat Universal Soldiers 16-4 on de_nuke and 16-3 on de_mirage in the semi-final, to make it through to the season final. DELTA advanced to meet the three-time EPS champs, with a 2-0 win against KAMUFLAGE.

US took third with a 2-0 win against KAMUFLAGE in the third place decider, before kicking off the season final. The final was, just like the other matches involving ESC, very one sided.

Starting on de_train, ESC won 16-7 against last season's third place finishers. Moving on to second map de_dust2 ESC got even less resistance from DELTA, who only managed to win three rounds. Winning 16-3 and 2-0 overall gave ESC their fourth ESL Pro Series title in a row.

Its not their fault. They need money. The problem are tournament organizations that declined CS 1.6. Hate them. Die in hell.

They're way too old for CS:GO. Maybe they're going to be good in the beginning but the game will develop as well and new players gonna reach their skill easily.

The teamwork and chemistry factor will make them great and one of the best for a few years easily. But other teams and younger players will catch up eventually your right.

Actually, it's not a good sign. See Sweden, the Swedish championship is so unpredictable. Anything can happen because every player in every team is improving continuously. If the 2nd best team in Poland can't even pose a threat to ESC Gaming, it means when the Golden 5 retires, Poland will be gone from the international CS scene. Polish people will lose interest in CS with the new teams performing badly in international events = lower spectators = one more nail on the 1.6 coffin
